I needed a way to keep microgreens cool without putting them directly on ice. This tray works well with ice and water in the bottom reservoir and the greens in the tray above.My only complaint is the bottom tray arrived cracked -- though it seemed to be packaged well by Amazon. I suspect it was cracked before being packaged for shipping. Since I needed it for an event, I sealed the cracks with clear silicone gel (like you'd use for sealing around bathroom faucets), and that fixed it. Still, it shouldn't have arrived cracked in the first place.
