This yeast nutrient has worked great for our brewing setup. We’ve been using it while making moonshine, and it really helps support a strong, steady fermentation. The yeast stays active and the process runs much smoother compared to batches without it.The quality is consistent, a little goes a long way, and the large container lasts quite a while. Easy to use and definitely a solid addition for anyone serious about their brewing.

Pitched dry yeast and and 4 tsp of thisnyeast nutrient into to my 5 gallon wort. Had airlock activity within 6 hours. 2 days later the airlock is firing on all cylinders.

Neilson Life are scammers. Instead of the Fermax I ordered (which should be made of Diammonium phosphate, dipotassium phosphate, magnesium sulfate, and autolyzed yeast), the product they sent me contained only Diammonium phosphate and urea (urine). This is completely unacceptable, especially for a food and beverage application, and the seller denies wrongdoing, saying right item was sent.Seller wasted days of my time on sketchy shipping, “investigating” why the wrong item was sent, only to refuse a refund or to acknowledge wrongdoing.
