MASON JAR LID WITH MICRO GREEN LID FOR SPROUTING ALFALFA SEED. (1, Regular Size)

I searched and searched for Mason jar lids for sprouting that had small enough holes to sprout small seeds like alfalfa. These work just fine for that and they were very reasonably priced. They fit perfectly on any widemouth Mason jar. I only needed two, so it was kind of nice that these are sold in packs of two. They even came with some extra bonus alfalfa seeds. I would highly recommend.

These are exactly what I needed! While the description states that these lids are for sprouting alfalfa seeds, I'm using them for sprouting wheat berries and black oil sunflower seeds as well. Although I haven't had them long enough to determine if they will hold up to the heavier sprouts like the wheat berries, I can say, "so far so good" after the first set of sprouts. So much easier than trying to stretch cheesecloth over the wide mouth jar and screw on the lid without wadding up the cheesecloth. Not to mention how gross the cheese cloth becomes after a few uses. I like the convenience of being able to screw on the lid, remove and wash them (by hand), and reuse them with ease!I also found that there was an "Unexpected Bonus": 8 packages of alfalfa (I think) seeds that apparently come with the lids--as a kit. I'm rather new to sprouting and haven't tried sprouting alfalfa seeds yet, but I certainly will give it a try now that I have the seeds! By the way, my order arrived long before the expected arrival date as well. So far, I am so thrilled and super impressed by this company (EatMoreSeed)--so much so that I visited their Amazon page to see what other products they offer. I was pleased to find that they offer other seed packets and kits such as lentils, buckwheat, and radish clover as well as seed mixes for special conditions/circumstances--i.e., "diet energy," "weight loss," "salad mix," "super health," and "cancer fighting,"Overall, I am very, very pleased with my lids and can't wait to try sprouting the alfalfa seeds that I received.
