Comfortable support
The support is definite but not stiff and hard. It keeps the thumb from bending and keeps weight off that side of the hand. I’ve only worn it for two days now, but all parts seem very stable and strong. Once I figured out what straps went where it became a snap to put on and take off. I did sleep in it most of the first night. I’m one of those people that can’t stand any restrictions whilst sleeping, so my having to finally remove it was not the fault of the brace. This one protects my CMC joint without hurting it, which is more than I can say about another sort of brace that was initially recommended. That other one had a plastic sort of ring around the CMC joint that no matter how I adjusted it was painful. I highly recommend this one. It works for me.

Great low-profile sturdy spica wrist brace! Great fit!
Sizing is as described. Very comfortable. Good fit. Good support and does stabilize thumb among with wrist. I was slightly dismayed to see that the hard supportive part of the brace "gave" a little bit easier than I'd want in a stabilizing brace, (*definitely more my fault than theirs bc I keep trying to use that bad hand when I know I cant,) but it's still sturdier than others I've tried, and it still has a very slim profile. The adjustability of the brace is also a huge plus, in addition to the multiple size offerings. BE SURE TO MEASURE YOUR HAND CORRECTLY! There's an adjustment on the actual thumb, at the base of the wrist, and a final one a little farther up the arm to ensure that the brace stays where it should. It has definitely given me excellent resting time between exercises and icing as recommended by my doc! Would certainly recommend - just try not to use your bad hand when you have the brace on!!

Good Purchase
Perfect fit. I have small hands and got the extra small size. Thought it might be too bulky but it’s perfect. Provides the right amount of support and compression for my inflammatory arthritis. Also a plus that it can be used for both hands as my flare ups will alternate from side to side.

Quality item and trigger thumb is healing…
Excellent hand/thumb device. Quality materials. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is because when wearing all night, in the morning after taking off, the glove leaves some “puckered” marks and upper wrist line (I am wearing fairly loose, so it’s not too tight at all.) It takes hours for the small marks to completely go away, but it’s a small sacrifice, because what I’m experiencing is a great product otherwise. I believe marks are left because it’s because the material is stronger and stiffer, with a built in brace for thumb. Fortunately by the 2nd or 3rd wearing, the brace “softened” somewhat and bends more easily with my hand. I do appreciate it is keeping my thumb in place and stabilized while I sleep. And best of all, I am finally healing! I wished I had discovered this device back in March, when my trigger thumb started. It was very painful and inconvenient having such issues with my thumb. I waited too long to find something suitable (although I tried one of those cheap thumb only braces back in early April - covers only thumb - but that helped only a little bit and then actually became worse, so I stopped wearing.) But in only 7 days wearing (usually while I sleep only) this new thumb brace that covers your palm and wrist, my trigger thumb is 50% better. I’d say that is very good, considering what I was going through before. And it doesn't interfere with my sleep at all. It is very comfortable to wear. I forget I have it on. I should add I also ice my thumb and rub occasionally with CBD balm. Icing is very helpful and I try to do everyday. I will continue to wear at least another month, as it was while I was sleeping that my thumb became much worse when I woke up (for months), UNTIL I discovered this item last week with further research. So thank you to the seller and manufacturer of this finely made product. NOTE TO SELLER: Maybe mention in your marketing materials that this item will feel fairly stiff the first time or couple times wearing, but it does soften up just enough afterwards, while still remaining extremely effective. And to expect marks on your skin.

Confidence and stability
I really like these. They fit my small hands, support my cmc joints and give me stability while lifting weights. I like the confidence they give me during my workout.

Well restrictive
My thumb has been bad for almost two months now and my old brace just wasn't cutting it. I'm very bad about not using my thumb which is contributing to it not healing. Got this one today and it's surprisingly comfortable (though it took a while to adjust it to the right firmness so my fingers didn't turn purple, but that's par for the course). It's secure and I can pinch a little still but no where near as much as before which is great. The wrist is also secure to keep the thumb thoroughly immobile all the way through. Going to take a little get to get used to, but I'm feeling confident this will actually force me to not use my thumb. It feels like quality material so hopefully it will last a long time.

Exactly what the doctor ordered!
This is exactly what I needed for a sprained thumb. When I went to the hand surgeon they were very pleased with this brace. I'm finished wearing it bc my sprain has healed but I am keeping the brace as I do have some arthritis in my hand and fingers and this brace will also be appropriate to help with that.

Hard to manage but my injury is healing
Very good quality material. I ordered an extra small bc my hands are small so it fit perfect. The only complaint is, is that it leaves brush burns in between your thumb finger and thumb. So bad that I have to use small cotton circles with castor oil underneath to prevent getting sores on my skin. And where it wraps around the thumb sweats and rubs too. And my hands never sweat. In fact, they are always cold. But, it’s doing what it’s supposed to do. It’s healing. I’ll just keep the castor oil and cotton pads handy.
