So far, these lights seem to be fine. The color (orange for my selection) is as advertised. The problem for me is that they are not, 3 mm diodes as the product title indicates. I’m sure I’ll find a use for these, but they won’t work for my intended purpose.

These worked perfectly to replace a burnt out light in a 2005 Dodge Ram passenger airbag switch. The light being burnt out set off the airbag light on the dashboard. Soldered in one of these- and fixed.

This was an ideal replacement for a small incandescent lamp in an electrical meter. The resistor was already in place and the whole thing made for a neat, tight install. I just covered the tip with a bit of white paint so it would not create too bright of a spot on the dial face. This diffused the light enough to illuminate the dial face without a bright spot, and now the meter is back in operation. Well pleased with this LED package..

Doesn't seem to work well on my application using traxxas light kit. Wattage issues

I bought these to replace some broken LEDs for my RC cars. They’re significantly less bright than the lights I got them to replace.

so my mustang didnt come with the pretty lights inside. so i bought the clips that you can put these in and put them all in my car. they are dimmable if you put them on a dimmer switch like i did. they are bright but i can still drive with them full brightness. they are a really good light for the price and i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

Pros:BrightGreen color was on pointCopper wireCons:They have a relatively narrow throw pattern but that’s expected with the designWire gauge is TINY, like only 4 strands of wire to work with, and delicate strands at that.I sanded down the LED plastic on 2 that I used for ambient lighting in my vehicle which helped diffuse the light throw. At anything less than 2ft they have a relatively concentrated beam.I’d also solder rather than crimp the connections on these if you can. Too aggressive of a crimp will break off the wire strands.

Good quality and bright,good for any project

Was looking to replace the blown VFO (tuning) dial and signal meter backlighting in an ageing communications reciever. Original backlighting was very dim even working as their glass capsules had gone silver with age. Bought 20 of these LEDS, used 2. Soldered in within 20 mins.Each LED is fitted with about 4 inches of cable so can be soldered easily. The LEDs are also available in red, green, blue, yellow, daylight white, natural white (yellowy) and purple.

used these LED's with a 12v transformer to replace solar LRD's which had ceased to operate. better light as a result and can be timed using a plug in timer. I used twin flat cable such as used for small speakers etc.

If they light up in the colour I ordered, I’ll be really happy, but I won’t know that for another 6 months, future project
