Switching power supplies eventually fail with use. My Koolatron’s original supply was no exception. I bought this as a replacement for the original and it worked fine.

Not really designed to run 24\7\365 !! The one that came with the cooler finally failed, but this was an inexpensive way to keep thing cool in my bedroom without having to buy a mini fridge. It's a named replacement for the portable electric cooler (just a 120v car adapter)

Best way to go (everywhere in power stations supply)

This is our second one. They burn out quickly less then a year But will buy the same one and its for that portable cooler

Was using a universal cigarette to 110 adapter and having cooling problems. Ordered Koolatron adapter and all is working great.

While plugged into the wall, the unit started smoking. Had to unplug to avoid catching fire. Now 14 days mast the return window.

Looks great and plugs in well. How ever it gets really hot when the iceless cooler is plugged into the adapter. Going to send it back because I feel it is unsafe for our RV.

I got the cooler for $20 but had no AC converter with it. It works amazing. Saved me $70+ dollars for the cooler.

Had to give one star just for add this review. First time used this in the UK, the transformer blew. Do not waste your time or money on this. We are in europe for the next 4 months and have a cooler we cannot use
