12 Pack - LED Supreme Foam Stick Baton Bulk - Light Up Batons for Wedding, Concert and Party - Multicolor

The picture isn't very close to what you get (the colors in the product picture are artificially saturated, this is a white baton that has three distinct areas that light up green, red, and blue), except in terms of the relative size of the product. I was expecting that but they are, on average, a little brighter than I thought they would be. At such a low cost I had expected relatively low quality and performance. Here's the skinny:These light sticks generally come with batteries which have enough power left to light up the baton really well in dark situations. To the point that on our porch after dusk it lights up the whole room with flashing colors. This was pretty impressive given the price point.However, we found that about 40% of the light batons did not work. They ship with a plastic strip inserted that keeps the batteries disconnected. When you remove that strip, 2 out of every 5 don't light up or light up very weakly (almost not visible). We were handing these out for halloween treats, so we ordered 60. Having 24 not function was NOT an option.I was able to repair all of the defective light batons. You must use a small philips screwdriver to remove the battery door. Remove the three coin-cell batteries and clean them with a slightly abrasive material. I used a combination of a nail file and paper towels to clean the + and - surfaces of the batteries. I then did the same to the spring and contact pad inside the battery compartment of the batons. These units have been stored improperly or for a very long time and that has caused corrosion to form on the batteries and their contact surfaces in the battery compartment. Some batteries had also leaked, which indicates at some point they may have been frozen. This recovered all but a few batons to working order. The remaining few, I repeated the process and rearranged the order of the batteries until the baton would work.So... you are getting what you pay for. Keep in mind you can have great success getting all of these to work, but it will take some effort. I will try to update this with some detailed pics so people can prepare by purchasing spare batteries and to illustrate the areas that need cleaning.

When I ordered these, I just went with impulse buying for no apparent reason, and based on reviews.I received the package today. The package consists of a clear plastic bag, that has self seal (re-sealable) adhesive that allows access to the individually wrapped pieces. Each stick has a pull out tab protecting the battery and a small button on the bottom that can be pressed to turn on, cycle through modes, and off. The foam is a little flimsier than I thought it would be, but it is not a big deal. I do think that if given to kids to play with them, they will break very easily. But for responsible adults or kids, it should not be an issue. I was planning on giving them to 3-6 year olds but not sure if they will last more than 1 hour.That being said, the sticks are bright, modes are interesting enough and I liked the multi color flashing mode. In this mode, the stick creates an illusion of having a trail all 3 colors (Red, Green and Blue) at the same time when you move it fast. Other modes include gradual color change, and each individual color flashing or solid.II am mainly taking one star off, because the pictures are a little bit misleading. None of the mode shows all 3 colors at the same time (as shows in the pictures of woman holding the sticks).Other than that, I think the purchase was great for the price of about 1 dollar a piece and I am sure the kids will love playing with them (especially when we go camping again next spring) as long as they don't break.

I bought these for my son’s birthday party. All of the kids (ages 9-14) had fun with them - using them to bat around balloons, as lightsabers/swords. I like that the colors are bright and saturated, and that there are 6 color settings. Though, having a setting for non-flashing sold colors would have been nice as the flashing can get annoying. The color changing mode is nice because it’s a slow, relaxed rotation, which is more tolerable than the flashing modes.Knocked off one star because 2 of the 12 batons didn’t work out of the box. If the seller provides a remedy (either sending replacements or batteries), then I’ll update my review. Just keep that in mind, expect some not to work, if you’re buying an exact number for party guests so that you’re not left hanging. Thankfully I had less than 12 guests so no one was disappointed.

They work great and have multifunctions. Just keep pushing the button. I bought them for my two year old who likes to "sword fight" so they safely work for that. You can replace the batteries. The battery compartment is sealed by a screw so a toddler can't get into it and the button is easy to push. The only thing I'm disappointed by is I thought one of the color feature would be the way it looks in the photo but that's not one of the color functions that's why the 4 stars. It has a strobing effect that flashes green red and blue so if you wave it around you see each individual color. It also has a slow fade through all colors and a flashing green, red or blue or a steady on feature for one color. One of them has a steady color of blue the other is a pink. Maybe it's supposed to be red but it's not. I only opens two for now and saving the rest to bring out once these two are destroyed by the cats or my two year old.

Bought these for some youth group wide games - needless to say the youth loved them and had a great time. All 12 that i bought worked properly on delivery and survived an evening of outdoor abuse, being thrown around on wet grass on a winters night. The brightness was more than bright enough for them to stand out like beacons in the fading light of a winter evening. I would thoroughly recommend these for people organising night games as a fun (and reusable) alternative to glow sticks

AMAZING!! Delivered to me the Next day, Packaged well and they work lovely!! My Daughters are very happy as I am sure there Friends will be too. I don't write reviews often but this deserved high recommendation to everyone, kids and adults. It certainly doesn't lack in quality considering the do low price. Thanks you very muchly . I will certainly order again
