SOME SWEAR (BY) THE KUMAI KNIVES, SOME SWEAR (AT) THEM...
THIS SET OF THREE KUNAI THROWERS ARE.. OKAY. Too light, and too thin for me, but much better than some of the tiny little toys that I received and tried to throw. So, these were okay, as far as small INEXPENSIVE knives go*** NOW: I'm writing this review with a BEGINNER'S eye, and a BEGINNER'S wallet. I have recently KNOCKED the dust off of my throwing knives, to see if I can still throw; to see how much I had forgotten... I forgot a bunch. I also needed some new blades. I bought a few diffrent sets and gave it a go. Some that I got were way too light, and they looked MUCH bigger on the site. As I shopped around I noticed that some of the other knife people really hated these things!. The THROWERS I watched, spat vile contempt at the KUMAI shape. But, I've seen these used quite a bit. This set of three is perfect for a beginner IF you can ignore the ring on the end. I myself do not see anything special that the ring can do. I, MYSELF throw by blade mostly, so the ring didn't bothere me. There are some people that like to do tricks; flip knives, spin them, and it looks cool and all, and I guess you could spin these on your finger, but that's kinda stupid, BUT THAT'S JUST ME...I've bled enough without trying to PLAY AROUND with sharp, pointy things. So, you want to throw knives, right? That's good! I find throwing to be another fun thing to do. but, HERE IS THE RUB... if you want to master throwing knives, your going to get cut, BY ACCIDENT enough, without showing off. Never threw before? This set is a good choice. THE ONLY SERIOUSLY SHARP PLACE ON THESE KNIVES ARE THE POINT. SO, if you spin these around on your finger and STAB YOURSELF, don't say I didn't warn you. Better buy some bandaids.

Decent, especially for the price.
5 stars based on these points:*Lasted this novice knife throwers first month without a tip breaking. Still no breaks to date.*No nicks in the blades.*Easy to learn and repeat throws.*Large, does not need a lot of force when throwing.Cons:*As a few other people have mentioned, the tips are sharp and tapered, I have had a few bend this way or that. I check the knives after each throw and bend them back with pliers when they get too bad. If you were to see how bad my first practice rounds went, you would be surprised that they still have a tip.*Cordage comes off with in the first couple weeks. I pulled the others off as well and use them naked. When I get good enough, I will just re wrap with para-cord.*Style, the ring makes it difficult for me to use a no spin throw.

I love them, I wish I bought them for myself!
My roommate loves knifes and anything else with a sharp edge so I purchased this for his birthday. They came very fast and in great quality. After a week or two of purchasing, the yarn started to undo itself on the handle and was a pain to continue having to retie it. I think they should consider using a small amount of strong glue to keep them together instead of tucking them underneath one another. The blade stuck into the wooden target we made perfectly. We ended up taking all the yarn off the handle anyway and I actually prefer it. The case is very nice and slim, definitely a nice touch. I would definitely purchase again.

Do not buy.
Very cheap metal. Im not a beginner knife thrower, and a tip broke after my second time using them. The other two are bending. Im too scared to throw them anymore. They feel heavy but are very brittle. I bought an even cheaper set of throwing knives by perfect point last year and they have been fantastic, so I expected the same with these. I was wrong, do not buy.

After limited use the tips have began to bend on ...
After limited use the tips have began to bend on all of the knives and the cording wrap came undone within the first 6 throws on each knife. For around $6 a knife I wasn't expecting to much, but I expected more than this. Save your money and invest in a higher quality knife.

for the price, its not bad
they are balanced, and the tip is sharp. After this purchase, I started considering the weight of the knife as an important factor. I don't know how many ounces of steel are in these, but its not much. The blades are sharp and thin, compromising its strength. The tips will bend, even if you're just hitting wood.its a 'good' knife, especially for the money, but they're a little too thin in my opinion. needs more steel.

Cheap junk
First throw paracord completely unraveled. So after throwing them a few more times all the paracord had either broken or unraveled. So I’ll have to wrap them with real paracord.

Shipping was great and on time
Shipping was great and on time. These knives came on the day of expected delivery. I purchased these knives on sale. I ordered 2 sets. 1 set was fine. In the second set the paint on 2 of the knives were eroded. They still throw and stick fine. But I was just a little disappointed in the quality control. The tips bend easily as well.
