I searched and searched for the perfect heating pad for my neck & shoulders. I can't say this is it, but it's the best I've found. I have chronic neck & shoulder pain from acdf surgery almost 2 years ago. I wanted a heating pad that covered my neck and shoulders and my back. This one is long enough that part of my back is covered. There is a small piece that goes up for your neck, and, of course, it wraps around your shoulders. The small neck part is heated - that was very important to me. It has 6 heating levels. It is much softer than other heating pads I've tried. It's comfortable enough to lean back in a recliner on it. I do wish it had a magnetic closure instead of a snap, but that's not a big deal. I have recommended this heating pad to several friends. I've used it daily for about a month and don't have anything negative to say about it yet.

Simple:Nov 23 - orderedNov 24 - received orderNov 26 - would not turn onNov 27 - took item to Kohls for refundThe night of the 26th I plugged my heat pad in and saw a "flashing F" on the digital display, I thought this was pretty strange since it had not been plugged up in several hours. I looked on the Amazon website's description of the product and read the flashing F was "...designed for overheated protection when you fold the heat pad and cause overlapped wires. Please don't panic just make sure the connection is pushed in tight or unplug the heat pad and replug it with the cord". Again I felt this was strange since I had not used the pad during the day... I woke up the next morning after not using the pad, plugged it in for one last shot to no avail, the flashing F would not go away. The ONLY reason I didn't buy another money saving Sunbeam heat pad is I was using it for my upper back and the design was hands free, plus my son's pregnant girlfriend is using our other Sunbeam heat pad purchased in 2006 (still going strong)... Needless to say we have 2 Sunbeams as of the 27th.

Different levels are a plus, but it does heat on the neck like I thought. Just shoulder and back

I'm a 72 yr old average size (I thought) and this is too small, won't cover my back like the picture, model must have been a midget.

Exactly what I need. Keep my shoulder and back warm in these winter days when working from home. Just be careful that it is US voltage 120, so you need a converter to use in Australia. (Aug 2020)Wrote the above back in August. Now it won't power on. Tried the website given in the manual and got 404. Just sent the support email. Will see what happens next. (Dec 2020)
