I like this set but prefer wooden needles

This is a nice collection of metal needles. They are smooth and easy to work with. Case is zippered so everything stays inside even when carried in a bag with my current project.

I bought these because a friend of mine was using them and they looked pretty. I realize that’s not a good reason to purchase knitting needles, but I did. The price for six sets of sock needles from sizes from 0-3 was unbeatable. The tips are well tapered and slick. The barrel is brushed aluminum and has just the right amount of drag to keep your stitches in the needles, yet not impede knitting them quickly. For such light needles they seem remarkably sturdy. No DPNs last forever without breaking or bending, but these should last for a goodly amount of time.

I really like these dpns! Dpns are sometimes hard to use. I have wooden ones and plastic ones and metal ones. These are perfect. They are metal so things slide very easily, but there is a coating or something that keeps them from being slippery and having your project fall off. They are a great balance between wooden and metal. I will probably get rid of the other types I have. These are a good length, too. The joins are perfect. No rough spots. The numbers are engraved on so that should last and not rub off.The tips look squarish but I have had no problem at all with them. They work very well.Mine arrived in the newer case - same blue and red but without the plastic window - which I am very happy with. It is a nice case.I recommend these!

I saw some reviews about blunt tips and hesitated to buy these, however, I have now used them a few times on socks and I LOVE them! In fact, I think they even help when working with particularly splitty yarn, since sharper tips seem to separate the strands too easily. These Zings don't hurt or poke your fingers when pushing them down by the needle tip. And the colors can't be beat! They really look nice in photographs. Plus, I love that you can tell which set you need at a super quick glance since they are color coded by size - it is effortless! The zipper case keeps all the sizes organized and available. The price was fantastic as well -- I'm quite pleased with this purchase!

I have some similar KP needles (interchangeable) where the join from the tip to the body is not very smooth but it is not an issue with these. They are also pretty “grippy”.DPNs are not easy for ANY beginner but these would help a beginner.

I am enjoying the needles very much. Slick, but not so slick that I worry about them slipping out of the stitches. The joins from the needle tips to the main part of the needle are nice and smooth. I like the color coding because 1. the colors are pretty; and 2. the different colors also keeps me from mistakenly using needles of different sizes on the same project. The tips are not as pointy as Knitter's Pride's Karbonz needles, but that is fine for how I work.

This is my second pack of these needles. Love how they work and feel in my hands. The color coding of each set makes it easy to tell what size I am using without a needle gauge!

The DPNs are lovely to use and comes in assorted colours to differentiate the sizes. The sharpness of the tips are just nice. Not too sharp that it will poke a hole through my fingers. Would be good if the 3mms and 3.25mms are of different colours.The casing that it came with is very sturdy and zips well but the smell is really unbearable like what the other reviewers have mentioned. I thought it wasn't so bad initially but after placing it in airtight storage box with the rest of my yarn & tools, everything stank.

They are great needles to work with. I like the ideaof having all the sizes needed frknitting socks together in one case.

These were great when I received them. Shipping was a little slow, ordered during the holiday season. I was able to knit up 2 pairs of socks before the cable broke. Pretty disappointing. So now i'm back to my DPN's while i source a supplier for replacement cables.

Las agujas estan preciosas y el hilo se desliza suavemente pero sin que los puntos se salgan solos de la aguja, en la foto faltan las agujas que estoy usando, las recomiendo.
