I have used other cable holders in the past but the magnets provide a special benefit over them. It can detach if the weight of the column is heavy. This has been a problem in the past for me, where if the adhesive is too strong, the glue leaves residual marks and if the adhesive is weak, the holder just comes up.The magnet in this holder is a great design. It gives a great balance between the stickiness and if there is a lot of pressure, it can come off too. The holder is tiny and can be kept attached to the cables in most cases. Sometimes, it can be too small too, for example, it just has enough room for my Macbook charger. I prefer it like that though. It has a very small footprint and I just leave it there and take it everywhere with my charger and when I come back home to my desk, I can just attach the magnet and everything works as expected! I can surely recommend to try this product.

Modern design and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. With this unit, your cable clutter will be at the minimum and will clear out space on your desk. The packers came with with 2 systems, 1 black, 1 white, each with 4 interchangeable magnetic cable clamps (total of 8). Sliding the cable us simple and the magnet is strong to keep the the cable in place when not in used.The improvements I can suggest to make this item better are: stronger base adhesive and larger magnetic clamps to accommodate thicker cables.That said, it works for me and I’m satisfied with my purchase.

We all have a handful of smart devices that need to be recharged at the end of the day. The issue I had was that there were so many wires hanging over my nightstand. The worst part was when it would slide back and fall behind the nightstand. This was the perfect product to fix that issue. It kept my wires organized and I could have it on the very back of my nightstand so it's not in the way of anything. Also with a one year old running around, I no longer needed to worry about him pull the wire since it was out of sight. I've used this product for months and the adhesion is still strong and I haven't seen any other issues with it. My only reason for giving this product a 4 star rating was because you had to buy a white and black one. I wish there was an option to buy two black ones or two white ones. It would have been nice to have the same color on both my nightstands. Hopefully this will be an option they will add in the future.

I have 4 cables on this thing and they don't move a fraction of an inch! The magnetic holds a 10' USB-C cable in place easily. I had purchased a different brand and different style and the magnets were weak and my cables kept falling off the table. NO LONGER! I totally recommend this especially seeing how you get 2! The only negative I would say is that it can only hold smaller cable thicknesses. Thick braided cables work but you can see the gap in the device holding it.

Thank goodness for this little gadget. I stuck it to the side edge of a table, and put a magnetic clip onto each of my charging wires. This keeps the wires all neat, organized, and within reach. Now, whenever I need to charge anything, I just grab the wire from the side of the table and plug it into my device. I no longer have to search around on the floor, or behind the table, or wherever power cords fall to when they're not being used. I like it.

These work fine for my purpose. I can't stand visible charging cords, but I like to have a central charging station for our devices. I attached the magnetic plate to the back, near the top of our TV credenza. It's easy to grab a cord to recharge phones, ipods, or ipads. When recharge is complete, disconnect and click the cords back onto the base, out of sight.

Have a braided cable (such as any of the top selling USB-C braided cables)? Well, they're too thick for these. Highly recommend going with a different option instead. I'll also say that the plastic definitely feels "cheap" as well. I haven't tried out the big name competitor to them that Anker makes, but it would be interesting to see how it compares.

The magnets hold cables well and the base will not damage a surface *IF* you first touch the adhesive to a shirt or other articale of clothing very lightly. Without doing so I can see it damaging whatever you try ro remove it from.
