Fiver!
The blades are nice, the price is cheap and they do what they're suppose to do. I haven't yet chipped a tip or broke any of the blades on some of my not so proud to say, yukked up throws. On the other hand the target eventually falls apart like a cinnamon bun. I have my own home made target so I could care less about the target it came with, that's why I rated these "blades" a fiver.

Cheap target
Target fell apart after the 4th time using it. Heald together by friction and a thin piece of paper on the back. The knives are nice for practice.Definitely got my fun out of it. Still have the knives but need to buy a new target elsewhere.

Hours of fun so far
Hours of fun so far! No broken points yet even though they have hit cement flooring a couple of times! Thank you!

Strong and Sharp
Good starter knives! Very sharp. I would recommend also buying some heavier dull knives so you can practice on your skill, because the sharper they are, the less you have to use proper form.

deadly friends recommended
I always wanted to learn to throw, and I had a deadly friend recommend a pair of knives to me ((United Cutlery GH2011 Gil Hibben Gen. 2 Large Triple Throwing Knife Set with Sheath)So I have a small backyard, I wanted a target. I had some broken furniture, used it to save the fence from being marred but the word was too hard for the knives to stick easily.I got this. Now, without the free knives it would be a little pricey. It lasted three full sessions of me and my kid throwing knives at it, and the part that failed was the frame/hook piece. It is basically a dart board that you are throwing knives at, and it will eventually fail. But I think it was worth 22 bux, especially considering now we have a few more knives. The knives are obviously lighter and cheaper than my "nice" set, but they are fine and possibly easier to learn on. Basically, if you get this think of it as an entertainment budget... 22 bucks will last you a few sessions. Not to mention I can probably salvage the target and nail it permanently to the boards outside -- but I didn't want to lave my primary board to the mercy of the weather. So now I'm ordering my second set.

Cheap
Works great for a beginner, though the target fell apart after one use.
