Hormel Foods Chi Chi's Salsa, Thick & Chunky, Medium, 16 Ounce

I love Chi-Chi salsa but do prefer the "medium" rather than "mild". When I can find it, I get a big bottle of it and add a bunch of fresh cilantro and a bit of apple cider vinegar. It makes a fabulous authentic Mexican salsa! Then I freeze it in smaller glass jars for future use. Try it!

Not typically a big jarred salsa far, but this one is one of the better brands. It has good flavor and texture.

It was good. Looks, smells, and tastes a lot like Pace, only ChiChi's is brighter red, and it has a "brighter" flavor as well. I would definitely choose ChiChi's over Pace, and I think it would easily win a taste test. But it's not that unique. I'd say if it's around in your area, give it a try, but I don't think I'd special order it. For me, the search continues.

Every Tuesday is taco Tuesday with Turkey meat. I make all the ingredients separately and Offer taco shells, burrito or bacon bowls to fill and this Resturant Style salsa goes over it -ALL. I

It's not the best but will do when I need something for a snack.

I usually don't like salsa because even the mild is too spicy. But, this is so good that I ate the entire jar in a sitting. And not a long sitting either. It's fabulous. Easily the best I've ever had. I'll be buying again... and again... and again...
