Pencil is like driving a luxury car
This is actually crazy, but I didn't believe the hype, I just needed a drafting pencil. Since using this, I have discovered new meaning to life, got inspiration to create, and basically elevated my intelligence. There can be only one. And this is the one!

Confidence boosting pencil
This is absolutely the best mechanical pencil I've used (+100 confidence), but I am still new to drawing. However, it has a nice weight to it so that I can use it for long hours, the quality definitely feels premium and the mechanism to hide the lead guide is amazing. If you want to increase its lifespan, then just hold your finger over cap at the back when pressing the clip to act as a cushion for the mechanism.

Great quality, but the grip doesn’t work for me
The build quality of the Pentel Graph Gear 1000 is outstanding. It’s solid, precise, and the retractable tip is a brilliant feature that protects the lead and keeps it pocket-friendly. However, the grip itself, which is made of a silicone-like material over metal, feels too thin and isn’t comfortable for extended use. On top of that, the metal body of the pencil makes it a bit heavy, so it can get tiring after a while. If you like a slim feel and don’t mind the extra weight, this will be a winner for you, but for me, I have to look for a mechanical pencil with a chunkier better cushioned grip for my comfort.

The Graphgear 1000 is an excellent Pentel Mechanical Pencil! Whether its any of the sizes.
Graphgear 1000 going into my collection I bought this one for the collection. Fantastic product! Great value for the money, refillable and 0.9mm is my size. I like the color! I collect these so I was just buying one for the sent of 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9 so far in the collection. I used with another set from 0.4 - 0.9 very handy easy to work with Mechanical Pencils.
