Lilikoi Jelly

I found this to be quite tasty but I do not consider this to be jelly. It has the consistency of syrup and would be lovely over ice cream or pancakes or maybe whipped into cream or frosting. To try to use as jelly, not so much. Is there a pectin shortage in Hawaii or something in the fruit that doesn't allow it to thicken? I just think this is marketed as something it isn't!I have edited this review because while I am still disappointed with the thickness of this jelly, we spooned some over a few scoops of coconut gelato last night and it was absolutely yummy! A real taste of the islands! I hope they work on the thickening problem and I would purchase again.

Only reason 4 instead of 5 stars is that it is runny. No problem really. More pecten would help.

Not your typical jelly, it is thinner, almost like a honey...but Very flavorful, fruity, not clear, and full of mashed fruit. It sticks to toast well. The taste is fabulous...tropical in a citrus-almost pineapple-way, but not those flavors exactly. I would not hesitate to add this to cottage cheese, yogurt, or to use a topping on ice cream or a cheesecake. The sweetness, freshness, revitalizing zest and tang of this jelly stayed with my palate and made by scalp tingle. I would not hesitate to purchase this as a gift. It was packaged with great care and arrived quickly to my Midwest US home via priority mail.

It's the bomb diggity, yo. Do the kids still say that? Strong passion fruit taste, a bit runny. Awesome on plain yogurt, cottage cheese, or over steamed white rice (don't judge), kinda messy in a peanut butter sandwich, though. I'm gonna get me some more.

It was sweet, but didn't have much flavor, definitely not passion fruit, which is what I was after. Also, these lids are in two pieces and sort of messy.

I discovered this while vacationing on the Big Island of Hawaii. It has a pleasant, very tart and fresh taste - so unlike most sugary jams and jellies. The passionfruit flavor is very prominent. It is a bit runny. I love it on toast.

CANNOT CALL THIS JELLY. IT TASTES GREAT BUR IS A LITTLE RUNNY.
