Mercer is one of my go-to restaurant brands for being available off-contract and for being high-quality. From specialized professional food equipment like 8 inch turners to generic knives, I can count on this brand to have something for me.This knife is of excellent quality right out of the sleeve. I like to sharpen all of my restaurant's knives before use, but orders started coming in before I had the time and it was 97% as sharp as my personal finish. No further sharpening necessary.The fact that it's also reasonably cheap enough to replace after one of my employees does something stupid with it is also a huge plus.This seller in particular was also very fast in shipping. I highly recommend this distributor for this particular product for having the product at my door in a timely fashion.

These are the best knives I’ve ever used. Superior quality and workmanship. Razor sharp. Comfortable handle and design. Built in handle guard for extra protection. No doubt the Japanese take pride in the quality of their steel. I bought several different knives of the same brand and each one is superior.

Mercer, for the win! Stop paying for knives that look good but function terribly! These are commercial kitchen knives that are found in restaurants. Tried and true by chefs and cooks, this is a knife for pros and at a great price. Throw away those dull knives and replace with Mercer

Sturdy and practical

I've used this brand for years the price point is reasonable they hold up well and if you lose one in the lake its not the end of the world.

Super sharp knife made in Korea. The carbon steel is super tough and it cuts really well. Just be careful cause you can cut yourself very easy, its that sharp. Nice Sheath on the blade, handle made well.

Love Mercer knives. I can't spend an arm and a leg on top of the line knives. These are high quality. And the price point just can't be beat. Need to sharpen them once in a while like any knife. Don't hesitate to buy this knife.

Great knife for fish and seafood, my tip got bent a little bit when I tried to use it on chicken so I'd stick to seafood.
