Jackson 3pc White and Natural Dropleaf Dinette Set

The media could not be loaded.  This was the only set that would fit in my kitchen's tiny space, and has colors that I like. Drawbacks are that wood at edge of seats of both chairs, one came damaged, and the other damaged with time. Another one is that someone had written, with black markers, on under side of drop leaf where it can be seen. The chair seats widen in front, making it difficult to push under table without damaging legs of same, and chipping white paint. Also, I already had to glue one of the chair legs. Chairs squeak (we're average-sized people, not overweight). It was not cheap and it could have been better quality and longer lasting (not sure is going to last much longer).I have now owned this set for quite a few years and it's still standing, even with three grandchildren who sit on it every day, several times a day. The chairs get pushed in and out from under table all the time, and they are wobbly. Again, as I stated above, the imperfect or damaged wood seats on the chairs should not have happened. If not for cushions, we wouldn't be able to use them. Also, my husband has had to put L-shape brackets on the chairs to make them stronger, along with screws to hold seats in place. A screw or two have lost their threads and don't stay in place. We're now thinking of looking for two new chairs to replace these.

Easy to put together. Solid wood, nicely finished. Perfect size for a small kitchen. The chairs are sturdy. It comes in two boxes, both boxes are well packaged and everything arrived perfectly. No tools are needed. Everything you need is in the box.

Good quality for the cost, perfect for two - breakfast, lunch or dinner. We use it for computer work too and sometimes as an extra workspace for cooking.

The back of one chair cracked soon after I purchased the set. The oak seat portion of one chair is crumbling. I always have stood on my kitchen chairs to reach something with no problem. Yesterday I stood on one of the chairs and the leg broke. I injured my back. Needless to say I hate this dining set. I've had it about a year and a half and now I have to buy new chairs.

I recommend this product to the people that need a small dinette set.It is pretty and it has a good quality.
