Are the blocks varying sizes? I had a set for my son 28 years ago & the blocks came in varied sizes.

They are all the exact same size. I had these blocks for my kids 28 years ago too.

The classic cardboard blocks are $24 on the lillian vernon website/catalog. your amazon price is $10.00 more! just wondering why?

I don't remember the actual size - maybe 6-inches long, 3/4 inches high, 1 1/2 -2 inches thick? Bought for my grandkids (who are all out of or currently in college). They loved these. I think over time I bought 10 o 12 sets so they had enough to build a fort or room or whatever. Kids love these, passed mine on to a cousin and her grandkids are now using them. Warning - if left on deck overnight they do get soggy - decent cardboard but still cardboard.
