The item I purchased was black with colored flowers and looked the same as pictured. The dress fit mostly as expected but not entirely. The arms are slightly snug, and the bust somewhat large. The skirt is nice and flowy. Material is lightweight with bright floral colors. The colors are nice.The model in the photo has more of a straight body shape which makes the dress appear to wear very nicely. However, I am curvy and have a distinctly visible hourglass figure. I found that the way the dress falls around the hip area around my curves gives it a look that shaped it more like a Puritan dress and caused the skirt to "parachute" or "umbrella" instead of creating an A-line.Just some notes:The string at the waist is not a drawstring. It is sewn at the front and is still a nice feature of the dress.I had expected the dress was able to be buttoned all the way down, top to bottom, which is what I bought it for. The top part of the dress has a few buttons that can be unbuttoned. The skirt part also has just a few that can be unbuttoned. The rest are decorative.Overall, if you have the body type that is suited for this dress, I think you will like how it wears and the colors are really pretty. It is elegant and feminine. For the price and quality, I really liked a lot about this dress. I was not disappointed about any of that. It didn't wear well on my body shape though. It's just too bad that mine was not the right match for the style.

Good things:Gorgeous, cool, thin fabric, pretty pattern.Fits well on a medium frame with medium bust.Sleeves not too tight, not elasticized, fall below elbow.Decolletage not too low.Problems:At the elasticized waist, pattern is mismatched, making the midsection appear improperly sewn and skewed.Comes to the floor on a 5'4" frame, which may or may not be a problem if you like long dresses.Long slit up the center front, a little too high for me. Buttons start above slit.Must wear a slip underneath. (Not a problem for me, I love slips.)

I got this dress really as a maternity dress. It’s very soft and pretty. I’m usually an M pre pregnancy (5’2” & 135 pre pregnancy) and based on the size chart I figured I’d go with M since the waist is a high waist perfect for a bump. And surprisingly it was a tad loose on my 5 mth bump frame but I think it’ll fit fine throughout the summer. The shoulders were a tad big so I think I probably could’ve gotten away with an S in this. But it’s flowy and comfortable. The waist string is just for show; but the high waist is elastic.

I like the color and fabric but the bust and arms ran too small. I am a large and it just did not fit right. The waist seemed too high as well. Cute on the model...didn't work in real life.

This is a nicely made dress that buttons up the front allowing you different styles. It is lightweight, but not flimsy. I’m 5’3”” & 130 lbs, and a size medium fits very well with the dress length just about my ankles.

Beautiful dress, fit as expected. I bought it to wear to a wedding and I was very happy with my purchase.

I love drape and flow of this dress. It is so comfortable and versatile. I am 5’ 5” and 170 pounds and it fits great. Definately going to order more colors of this dress!
