A Gay Woodland Romp
In "Timber" Dale Lazarov's series of gay-themed graphic novels reaches an all time high. The story is told, as are all of Lazarov's books, without words which means that no word or thought balloons detract from the art work or the action. The action is a blend of Lumber Jack porn and Ovid's Metamorphosis as a lonely bear-guy wanders through an erotically enchanted forest in search of carnal companionship. As dawn breaks he meets up with a trio of lumber jacks who take the hunky wanderer into their bunk-house and show him that they are "good with wood" in more ways than one. The art is spectacular!! Illustrator, Player invests his imagery with a stunning sense of color and a sly wit. Perhaps most importantly, the story is an unabashed celebration of gay sexuality! It's also a very inclusive celebration of masculinity in a variety of race and body types.

Magic Realism + Humpy Lumberjacks
A solitary walk through the forest turns into something much more stimulating in Timber, an erotic adventure from Dale Lazarov and Sticky Graphic Novels. The Sticky formula involves putting lots of diversely handsome, sexy guys in various wordless, lushly drawn situations—some are romantic, some action-oriented, some sweet, some rough (or a combination of all the above!). Timber differs a bit in that it has a bit of magic, with the protagonist (a scruffy blonde dude with the requisite Adonis physique) getting seduced by a trio of lusty loggers with the aid of mysterious, ethereal forest sprites. The playful camaraderie between the men turns into an arousing four-way which becomes wilder and more surreal (and hotter) as their sexcapades amp up. Although all of the Sticky novels sport excellent art, Timber's imagery—by British illustrator known as Player—is especially gorgeous. The characters' facial expressions are endearing, goofy and sexy, while the coloring and lighting effects (especially in the sex scenes) are a distinct cut above the stuff you'd find on the internet. Great job, men!

This became a favorite from the moment the cover opens
This became a favorite from the moment the cover opens. The very dynamic textless format is adept and linear. Mr. Lazarov writes passionately with an accessability that inspires the reader to wander forests searching for manly sex spirits. I am inspired, and I thank the author and artists for a sensuous fantasy I never knew I had. I love this book.
