A corrective brace that works for a good price
I have Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT) Disease, which causes a lot of imbalance, high arch, pain, drop foot, and more. I took a chance on these braces (both left and right) as an affordable option to the ones you’d get through an actual doctor (which are custom fit and extraordinary, I myself just haven’t gone yet). Prior these braces I clomped quite a bit and my feet would tire out so fast that I’d have to sit and let my feet relax for a few minutes till I got back to walking. They’d be so weak I couldn’t lift my feet to walk. After the braces, I can still feel my feet being tired (there’s no escaping that), but I can keep walking without worry of my foot dropping and messing up my walk. (Granted my walk is still messed up, but that’s from my condition.) When I push my foot forward and release, the brace immediately brings my foot back into place. I even try to drop my foot behind me as I walk o purposely trip myself, and the brace prevents it. It’s actually pretty remarkable. They fit in my lightweight boots perfectly without trimming (size US Men 10.5), but I did take out all inserts (the initial insert I had already removed and replaced with a dr scholls insert). I do have corrective plastic heel molds, to which I slid into the boot on top of these braces and they fit just fine. I keep both the brace and heel insert in full time, and just take my foot with sock on out. I can’t really say just yet how the front half of my foot is going to feel walking on plastic all day after awhile, but so far it’s just slight discomfort toward the end of the day (like any shoe really). The portion that goes up your thigh, I would recommend high crew socks or just under the knee socks. The top edge of the plastic does rub, but that’s expected. There is no padding, which honestly I don’t think it needs it if you’re wearing socks. Virtually unnoticeable in pants, incredible. The Velcro (generic hook and loop) is okay, there’s extra so be sure to trim it up. They’re held on with some glue, the one already came off. But honestly that’s fine: I intended on replacing them with black straps anyway. I wasn’t sure if the bottom strap was really necessary, but I’ve come to like it. The top strap is a must. All in all, I’d give these a 4.9/5; with that .1 being the very very inconvenient strap issues. The fit, they WORK (the main point), relatively comfortable and unnoticeable, and are a bargain. Even if they loosen up / wear out / break, I’m willing to buy them again because they’re a deal.Miscellaneous context: 6’ 0” male, average build, 185 lbs, 10.5 US men’s shoe, physical activity and exercise level 6 to 7 out of 10, CMT Disease. Real review, not a bot or paid. Hopefully this helps others out.

Stay away from
The back side where the plactic makes an x will cut your leg so you will need to cover it with something soft. Also the straps glued onto the plastic only last a few weeks. The adhesive comes unstuck way too quick. If buying expect about 2-3 weeks use only

Pretty good, needs padding
I would’ve given this a five stars if it had came with some foam padding at the very top of the brace. Since I have a very sensitive and numbing sensation on my calves, this brace dug into my skin and caused a wound. The brace did the trick, but if it had a little more padding or if I would add some padding before wearing them again, it’s a good brace.

Great product, gets the job done ✅
I have drop foot on my left side and this product helps with keeping my foot elevated so I don’t trip, which is a thing that happens without it. I do use a shoe insert with it and both have provided me with the freedom I need to walk unobstructed. Thank you!!

More comfortable than I'd expected!
This light-weight brace helps keep my foot positioned correctly as I walk, without unduly limiting the action of my ankle. I was concerned that the foot plate would be too flat, since my orthotic would not fit either inside or beneath it in my athletic shoe, but it has enough built-in arch support to prevent my plantar's fasciitis from kicking up (though it might not be the right amount for everyone). I do want a little padding from ankle socks when I wear it. And I put some moleskin cloth on the inside of the calf panel to keep my skin from sticking to the plastic. But overall, it's relatively easy-on, easy-off, particularly when I leave the brace in the shoe and simply unfasten both the shoe and the velcro straps to slip my foot out. In putting it back on, the calf portion of the brace acts as a kind of shoehorn, letting me slip the foot back into place before retying the shoe and fastening the two velcro straps. The straps are quite long; I shortened mine and added another bit of velcro to avoid having extra-long pieces flapping around between my calves.
