I was surprised, given the low price that the shoe was as high-quality as it is. It looks great and appears to be pretty durable. It is not as wide as I had hoped and my foot is still stretching out the leather. Definitely go up a half size or a full size if you have a wide foot. I went up a half size and it wasn’t quite enough.

These are NOT charcoal black they are dark gray. If my son didn't like them, I would ask for a refund. What is crazy is that dark gray isn't an option. It is black and navy blue.

I must caution potential buyers about the shoe's incredibly thin insole, which not only deteriorates rapidly but also exposes the foot to direct contact with the unforgiving plastic sole, leading to discomfort while walking. One of the most disheartening aspects of this shoe experience is the significant decline in quality from the brand. While I had previously held the brand in high regard, it is evident that their standards have plummeted. The lack of durability and the failure to provide a basic level of comfort is simply unacceptable. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend these shoes to anyone. The issue with the flimsy insole and the resulting discomfort while walking make them an impractical choice for everyday use. It is disappointing to witness such a decline in quality from a once-reputable brand. I would advise potential buyers to explore other options that prioritize both comfort and durability. Overall, my experience with these shoes has been deeply unsatisfactory. The bottoms are very flat and have no grip, was immediately slipping out of the box. Otherwise very comfortable
