Hello Kitty CD Boom Box with AM/FM Stereo Radio - KT2028

This boombox is just as cute as it looks. Everything works really well, and sound is clear and good.It is definitely not a high tech boombox, which I expected when I chose it. It simply is a basic boombox good for a starter music system for your child or an extra little sound system for the basics.The dials are in strange places and takes a minute to figure out what is where, but everythings works perfectly and is cute as can be.In short... just what I wanted and expected.

My niece wanted a boom box for Christmas 2007. I looked in the stores locally for "Hello Kitty" but couldn't find one. I came home after a night of running all over town; logged on to Amazon.com and typed in Miss Kitty boom box. I purchased on line in less than 10 minutes. It was well worth the shipping charges. She loves it. It's easy for her to play. She was an expert at it before Christmas Day ended. It's very well put together, looks sharp, not cheap looking at all. Well worth the money.It came before the arrival date. My niece takes it everywhere. When she comes to spend the night with her aunt, we put a tape in and dance, laugh and have a great time. Thank you Amazon.com. I have purchased many products from Amazon.com; books, CD's, Christmas gifts, ect. and have never been disappointed.

I bought this as a gift for my two year olds who ask for music whenever they are going down for naps or bedtime. They have a collection of cassette tapes that they choose from and try to put in the slot. Some day they'll get it... They also are learning how to access the CD part but haven't figured out the pushing the button only once part. It should come with time.Easy on the eyes (if you like pink) and easy to use this boom capsule fits nicely on top of our kids dresser and has adequate volume range and fidelity for bedtime music.Cassette buttons take more force than can be generated by a two year old and until they can read, we have to run it. A good enhancement would be to use contrasting colors for the start and stop buttons for non-reading kids.However, I realize that this was probably not intended for operation by toddlers... although it could be.

it is very hard to hear the radio to much static and cd does not work, it kills me that i research and this one was the better one turn out to be a bad investment

I had researched reviews of this item before purchase and did come across a few negative ones but most were positive and I usually have very good luck ordering from Amazon----WRONG--did not work right out the box--so disappointing! Gave it to my grandaughter for Easter and embarrassing to have it not work--How can I explain to a 5 year old that the Easter Bunny messed up??? It did not even power on-with plug or batteries (which by the way takes 8 C batteries)--after pushing down the top loading CD lid-it would come on , play a couple of songs--then stop. When I did get it to play and then attempted to use the HELLO KITTY headphones I purchased with it-it stopped working again.Have to return and not happy that I have been a loyal AMAZON customer for years and after years of buying merchandise have only returned one other time--this purchase did not qualify for instant refund--now it will take two days after receipt of merchandise at Amazon to receive credit back to my bank account. Will think twice before ordering from AMAZON again after this experience.

The colors and Hello Kitty decal cause me to give this 2 stars...otherwise, I would give it none. The controls and technology seem very out dated (who needs a casette player today?,,,, and that is the easiest of the functions to use) The most used controls are difficult to get to: (CD player, Volume, Radio ) and labels on them are hard to read . Had I seen this in person I never would have bought it.. We purchased a boom box for my grandson five years ago that is far more convenient and that has been extremely durable. We bought another for the house that must be ten or more years old that works much more easily. Why make things so difficult for a 6 year old?

My daughter had been begging me for her own radio/CD player. This was perfect for her as it has the radio/tape( yes we have some she listens to)/ and CD player. It is has surprisingly great (loud) volume capabilities and is still light enough for her to carry around the house.

Great boom box. Bought this for my 7year old daughter for her birthday. She loves it, and plays music every night to fall asleep. She also enjoys playing CDs during the day after homework. The boom box plays clear music, is lightweight and very portable. Well worth the money and buying it on Amazon saved me alot of $$$.
