the original is pretty, sturdy and has a quality feel to it. Just be prepared to spedn quite a bit of time to put it together. There's lots to screw in and by the right order. Some holes are not too easy to screw in but also not too much of a problem.It actually didn't fit in the space I had for it (my fault) so I sawed a few of the shelves and did something a bit different because the wood is pretty and looks great in a bath room.

Easy to put up. Would advise you to first check without screwing where the pieces should go. Then screw the smaller shelves together and then once they’re all put together screw it to the back spine! Nice and sturdy, although unfortunately mine can with one less screw then it’s supposed to.

Didn't come with instructions, cheap wood and very unstable. Not impressed as I believed this to be a very cute bookcase before attempting to assemble it. Doesn't look like a bamboo tree its looks like deforestation.

Simple and straightforward to assemble with a handy screwdriver included. However, there were no covers to place on top of the exposed screw heads and, considering the price I paid for it, the quality of the wood was okay but a little tatty around the edges. Was planning to purchase more but I have been put off by the poor quality.

Easy to be assembled, very stable, solid, and holds a lot of books.Looks very nice as well!

I haven't assembled this yet, and won't be able to do so until I've visited my local hardware store for appropriate screws, because the 12 that are said to be included in the product weren't. Neither was the screwdriver that is said to be included. So, I am the proud owner of several nice-looking pieces of wood that will *probably* make quite a nice book rack when they're done... but I'm unable to assemble them into anything at all at the moment.If you're going to ship partial products, you get reviewed accordingly.

Very cute bookshelf. It’s a space-saver and can be placed in any side of your room as it’s not to large. It didn’t come with instructions but it was easy enough to assemble especially if you’ve done a few flat-pack furniture before.
