I have always enjoyed ceramic knives. They just seem to have a Sharper Edge and are stronger for some reason. Either way this one has been fantastic with vegetables and meats and everything. I probably will buy a few more. I especially enjoy the safe plastic sheath it comes with. Has a really nice comfy handle and it makes perfect slices of cucumber for tea time sandwiches. Just a great price for a great product
