Hi, Splitting fruit is usually the sign of too much water. Citrus do not like wet feet. Fertilizing at the wrong time can also cause splitting. Should be fertilizing before growing season starts, after fruit fall, and once lightly during winter. Talking pounds of fertilizer for aeach tree. Often blooming plants, planted in bloom, need a period to acclimate to their new surroundings.Remember, most nursery grown plants are out in the open, feed heavily, and watered regularly. Suggest reading up on your particular plant, and follow recommended fertilizering schedule, problem 4 times a year, a pound or two for each plants. Hope This Helps, Regards,

Nitrogen is the principal ingredient to promote green growth but to encourage blooming you want more phosphorus. I use Dynagro principally for my houseplants and orchids. - even some cactus. It's particularly useful for these plants because it's fairly low in the NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) so you don't have to worry about "burning" their roots if you over fertilize. Most of these types of plants, like the orchids, are designed to do well on these lower fertilizer numbers. So DynaGro keeps my tender exotic plants healthy and blooming. Just follow the directions on the bottle. 👍

Q: What concentration should I use to feed seedlings?

Hi, In our commercial orchid operation, we used 1/4 teaspoon per gallon for seedlings (Normal is 1/2 teaspoon for gallon). This product has no urea filler, so more pure nitrogen is available for use in growth. Excellent product, have used it for 20+ years. Hope This Helps. Regards,
