Chute Mag Replacement Cap

i like that it sticks in place, hasn't broken, easy to wash, handle fits nicely in carabiner, great design, hasn't leaked except when dropped and just had to tighten the lid. I like the color black for the lid, it fits all my different colored water bottles.

Best quality. It's our second camelbak bottle and they never disappoint. Real tough and excellent finishing. It's the spare part perfect for it. 💯 Satisfied

Highly recommended lid! I replaced an older camelbak lid with a cap that needed to be snapped into the handle. It fits great and doesn’t leak. I’m glad that I’ll be able to replace the lid, because the stainless steel water bottle is going to last a long time!

I love this replacement top for my camelback water bottle! I had the straw top previously and after extended use I was unable to get it clean. I decided on this top because I do not have to worry about any silicone getting cloudy and it is so much easier to clean. I absolutely recommend this replacement over the straw! The top is really strong and durable. I have not had any leaking, which is my number 1 priority. It screws on tight to the bottle and the cap screws on tight to the top. There is a magnet that holds the cap on even after you unscrew it. You will need to pull it off even after unscrewing. Great value and definitely recommend!

This item doesn’t fit this camelback. The lid itself is well made and I’m disappointed that it doesn’t fit.

Perfect replacement caps for the camel!!!!!!

I bought this cap after the original cap on my 2013 Camelbak chute wore out and started leaving plastic bits in my drinking water 🤢 At the time I bought the bottle in 2013, it was $8.99, and I figured I had gotten a good 10 years out of it by 2023, so I started shopping for a new one—only to discover that a new camelbak chute in the same size is $16-18 (at time of writing) Fortunately, I found this replacement part for about $10, and my water bottle is back in service. The new cap is a substantial improvement over the original in basically every way. The original cap relief on a press fit between the inner lip of the cap and that of the water bottle to make a tight, leakproof seal. However, the result was that the cap had to be screwed on to a specific tightness and the seal had to be completed dry. Several times I caught the original cap, which was supposedly “leakproof” leaking on the floor of my car. In its final year, the cap lost its seal to the point that I had to clamp it down really tight and hope it didn’t end up sideways. The new cap solves this problem with a rubber gasket, and I have experienced no leaking trouble at all since. The magnetic retainer for the spout cap is also a huge plus, since the original cap’s clip on retainer never really worked for me. I can’t speak to durability yet, but for less than the price of a new bottle, my water bottle is better than it was new, and that means this cap earns its five stars.

The previous design on the chute was super frustrating: you had to hold it out away from your face with a finger while drinking, it was easy to miss the threads, and worst of all, it constantly leaked for no apparent reason. I finally got sick of it and replaced it with this new version. This fixes every problem in the previous design, and I have never had it leak. I lost my bottle this weekend and had to switch to a different one with the old cap (thinking maybe it wasn't as bad as I remembered) - and so here I am, mere hours later, with a soaking wet backpack and another updated cap on the way from Amazon. It's worth the price to have something that works and works well.

Tappo che ho preso per sostituire il vecchio modello, non perché non funzionasse più o avesse odori strani, ma per avere l'apertura con il magnete che caratterizza questo tappo, rendendolo più comodo di quello più classico che una volta aperta andava mantenuto aperto con il dito. Camel back è sinonimo di riferimento quanto a qualità e durata. Ho una borraccia che uso regolarmente da 13 anni ed è ancora perfetta, mai un odore sebbene la dimentichi a volte nella borsa dopo gli allenamenti Crossfit-tennis ecc. Si lava e si risciacqua e torna come nuova, sia la borraccia che il tappo. Ricambi garantiti per decenni. Resistentissimo, nonostante svariate cadute da oltre 1 metro, sia piena che vuota, non si è minimamente danneggiato. In confronto ad altre soluzioni all'apparenza più accattivanti e "moderne", non teme rivali. Numero 1 assoluto per le borracce e ovviamente i suoi tappi. Una volta chiuso non ha mai perso una goccia e non si svita, restando sempre al suo posto, quindi anche buttando eventualmente la borraccia in mezzo ai vestiti, ho sempre la certezza di non avere sorprese come invece è capitato con altre borracce con tappi dalla tenuta non sempre ineccepibile. Ne ho altre 2 in casa con lo stesso tappo, più recenti ma identiche nella concezione e il giudizio è sempre lo stesso. Prodotto al TOP senza se e senza ma.
