I gave the Darn Warm Alpaca Fingerless Gloves (90% Alpaca) a 4-4.5 star rating because the fit runs small. There are plenty of compression gloves on the market but I didnt want that. I wanted a warm, soft, "fingerless" glove to keep my hands warm especially using the computer. I found these to be soft, but probably not as warm as they could be if they didnt fit so snug. The "fingers" are snug but their length is perfect, coming to the top crease of each finger. There wasnt a size guide to follow. My palm from wrist crease to the first crease of my middle finger is 4.5 inches and the width across my palm at the first point of the thumb attachment is 3.5 inches. The wrist part of the gloves is long starting about an inch onto my palm. I ordered the medium, but next time I would order a large. The gloves are well made otherwise.

So warm, so sturdy, such a good purchase, I own three pairs!
These gloves are SO warm, the alpaca wool holds heat like a dream, and remains soft to the touch even after multiple washes (follow the instructions, and don't put them in the dryer). I have one pair at home, a pair at work, and a pair I always keep in my coat. I love that the fingers go all the way up to the last knuckle -- I need my fingertips bare for typing and detail work, but I want the rest of my finger protected and warm! So many other fingerless gloves barely cover the base of the finger, and I feel like their makers just don't get the point. These are also really well-made; they hug the wrist comfortably with a cushy cuff that is thick enough that it doesn't bite into the skin, but still plays well with other layers of shirt and coat sleeves. The finger-tip edges, usually the first place to unravel, are still going strong on all ten digits on all three pairs that I bought over a year ago -- it seems like they put extra attention into the binding of that hard-working edge. I highly recommend these, and will undoubtedly be buying more as gifts (or when I inevitably lose one of these pairs!)

Welp, I finally accidently dried mine too many times
But I still wear em.. Despite being incredibly tight now, because they work! Our drier is always sweet to low, but they still shrunk at least a whole size, maybe more.I hike dogs for a living and so far these haven't picked up a wet/dirty dog smell despite being in constant contact with them.. I don't love how all the little fibers are sticking out all over the place.. But my hands do stay warm. I'm debating ordering the next size up so I can accidently shrink that pair too, and maybe they'll fit me better 😂 In SLC, UT.

Tight around wrist
Love the softness and fit around fingers. But these are too tight around the wrists, cutting off circulation.

ONE SIZE fits all
Not really. These gloves are perfect BUT if you have small hands I’d think twice. They are just a bit long in the fingers. I’m managing but I do wish they had been sized; at least medium and large.

Finger tips open GLOVES
These gloves are very comfortable and help keep your hands warm and your fingers free and open

Great keyboarding gloves, for how cheap they are
I only wish it was easier to distinguish between the right and left hand gloves. Many times I've worn them, 5 minutes later felt that the glove is squeezing my hand in an odd way, only to realize I had the wrong glove on the wrong hand.

Perfect for job
I normally use the gloves when sitting still for any length of time: reading , watching TV etc, and it really does a great job of keeping my hands warm during that time. My only concern is that on the right glove the stitching between the thumb and forefinger is already starting to unravel, and will probably continue to do so. Replacement would be appreciated if that is possible.
