You asked for it - here it is - a GINORMOUS box of 1/8" MDF (that's 3 MM for anyone into metric measurements) packed into a Large Flat Rate USPS box. This box contains 24 sheets of MDF, each one measures just under 12" x 20", so that it can fit into this USPS Flat Rate shipping box - the one that is made for mailing board games. I'm guesstimating that each sheet weighs about 2 pounds, so this is a hefty box to ship. Do you make small signs or plaques, or perhaps teach a tole painting class? CNC work or laser cutting? These would be excellent for perfecting your skills! Or - these would be great for mixed media crafting projects, too. Doll house building? Laser engraving? Materials for home-schooled projects? Perfect!

Works great in the Glowforge laser cutter
This is great MDF to use for laser cutting. The GlowForge Medium MDF settings—both cutting and etching—work perfectly with it. The pieces are cut from 24” x 12” into a 20” x 12” piece and a 4” x 12” piece (both included) so they will fit into the GlowForge.The MDF.is light enough in color that etching is easily visible. I’ve used it for making boxes, organizers and decorations.

It was shipped on time
It has good wood, but it had a few pieces the was to warped and was kind of tough to cut.

Just what I Had Expected
I use these boards for linocut printing. I mount my lino on them. These are great.

Accurate thichness
The thickness was not 1/8 (.125) in. It was .115 +- .001. The 1st batch I ordered (12x24) was 1/8. This measurement was critical to my application and CAD drawing were setup for this dimension. Unfortunately i didn't check the current batch (12x20) before I did a run. Man was I pissed when things didn't fit ! Redid CAD drawing, got reasonable good fit, what a pain. Live and learn. Otherwise great stuff.
