I was super excited about this product because my family was gonna use it to light fireworks for New year tomorrow. But what ended up happening was a list of disappointment.When I first got it, the color did not look the same as the pictures online, which is minor. it just got worst. When I took it out I tried turning it on to see if it works, it didn't and had flashing light, so I thought I probably need to charge it. After a whole night of recharging,testing,recharging...I got up bright and early today to try it again, nothing was coming up and light was still flashing. I tried charging via portable usb battery charger/computer and didn't work at all. No clue where all these good reviews came from..I gave up on this product and will be going to homedepot to pick up traditional lighter for fireworks...

very easy to use and in don't have to worry about the wind blowing the fire out on the lighter and it stay charge long time because I but it charger one time that was in December and it will soon be month since I charge it for first time this January now and use it mostly every day for my incense

This is one of the worst purchase I ever made.It only lasted 2 weeks and stopped charging.Don’t waste your money.

I was scared the first time I used this partly because it felt like I was tasering my candles,but after getting a couple uses out of it I now fool like this is the future of lighters.

I am not a smoker, but there are times when I need a light for candles or other uses. The problem with conventional lighters is requiring fuel (Butane or Lighter fluid) that frequently dries up when I need to use a lighter. When I saw that these type of rechargeable lighters came out, I acquired one. But the first wave of lighters have recessed heating elements that do not work for all situations.This is more of a wand type of lighter. It is great for starting a grill or fire pit. It also works for lighting candles. The heating element retracts by a level, and the power button is recessed. It charges through a Micro USB cable.For household duties it works great for what I need. The bottom of the handle does warm up after a few uses but it doesn’t get hot. It is recommended not to keep the element on for more than ten seconds but most things light up in 2 to 3 seconds. Overall, it is exactly the type of lighter that a non-smoker, like me, needs around the house.

Could not get this thing to work at all. Charged it up off of computer, but never could get it to arc. Junk!
