Why does chamberlain charge a fee when the other devices are free?

No fee to use with Amazon Key but Count me among those who was about to purchase the camera and then found out about the $30 VIDEO "subscription fee". I've used the chamberlain MyQ fore a year with their no fee app and no fee for Amazon Key access delivery. I'm buying the Wyze V3 (free video) camera instead for almost the same price as 1 year chamberlain video subscription.

Will this integrate with a Samsung Smart Things hub?

It is really shame that Chamberlain myQ decided to NOT support SmartThings. After their announcement to support it (which was if I remember 2015 or 2016), I actually switched all of the garage openers to be myQ compatible... which ended in major disappointment because they never got out the integration. There was a manual integration that a SmartThings user did, but even this one is now defunct.

Is it compatible with amazon alexa/echo, apple homekit?

Will my existing door openers (car, wall, and outside keypad) still work?

Depends on your opener and how many remotes it can support.  My garage door opener supports 5 devices.  Look in your manual. You should find the number it can support. Possibly where it talks about learning remotes or in trouble shooting remotes.  I have kids, and my wife and I have cars, so keypad, 2 remotes plus MYQ chamberlain is 4.  I can add one more. After that, the one programmed longest ago falls off first to make room when I try the 6th.
