Flavor is quite good, not super spicy. Still needs just a bit more flavor, but are really good. Is my favorite right now and Iโm gonna keep buying it. Are a bit pricey for the amount, but are easy and good ๐๐ฝ Review: Taste the difference quality makes! - This is not some sort of 1980s coffee crystal style of powder beverage. This is the real deal! We are all sceptical at first. Really? Can it be good? But it will get grainy right? Nope. You can put that to bed right now. Brewed it with 12oz or hot water from my pod coffee brewer and added a half cup of milk to make it a latte. Desolved completely. And whoa, its good. The ginger and black pepper come through nice and strong. If you like a spicy chai, this is all you. My wife doesnt like it as spicy so I brewed with just straight hot milk and she likes it too. Worth the money. Perfect for outdoor adventures in the back country.

Don't hesitate to order the Chai tea!
I could drink a Starbucks Chai tea every day, but who can afford it?! I like my Chai tea spicy, but the tea bags just weren't cutting it. I ran into a fella in Crested Butte two years ago who gave me a sample of his Cusa English Breakfast tea and I was hooked. I was even more pleased when I found out Cusa had a Chai flavor. I've been in heaven ever since! I have ordered several 100 ct packs since then and it's my morning go-to. I add one packet of Stevia, a little bit of Sweet Cream creamer and two scoops of my Collagen powder. I get flavor and the health benefit of Collagen and added protein. You can't even tell the Collagen powder is in there. Keep it up Cusa! Love, love, love your teas!

decent taste, convenient, a little spendy, best in 8 ounces
I am a Nature's Guru Instant Sweetened Masala Chai addict, but I wanted to move towards all organic at home, so I thought I would try this instant tea and add my own stevia and my own milk. I have tried making this two ways, first by adding powdered milk after the fact, second by doing 2/3 water 1/3 milk then heating it, I always add the powdered tea last as that is how it dissolves best. The flavor is pretty decent though not my favorite. I think I need to try to sweeten it with sugar once like the Nature's Guru to more closely compare apples to apples flavor wise. I like that this Cusa chai has black pepper in it and that it is not overly ginger flavored like Rishi. I also like that the cinnamon used is real cinnamon and not the non-cinnamon species from Vietnam or Indonesia and the seller was very prompt in answering my question on that. I also like that this is brewed then dried as opposed to just being dried powdered whole tea leaves which don't dissolve/mix well and don't taste well/like real brewed tea since you get the whole leaf. The package says to mix with 12 to 14 ounces, there is no way that would work, it would be way too weak, I have been using 8 ounces and that is just right. I find it a little spendy at a buck a cup since I wasn't willing to buy in bulk, but I can enter a camelcamelcamel alert to watch out for price drops. So, anyway, for now it is a strong "like" or four stars.

Tastes like Boulderโs Sherpa Chai! Ginger and Pepper notes.
I have purchased more chai tea than I care to admit in order to find my favorite flavor blend. For Iced chai, Sherpa chai out of Boulder is my favorite, but Whole Foods stopped selling it in my area and it was prohibitively expensive to begin with. I had few expectations for an instant tea, but I love it!!! Heavy on the ginger and pepper notes, which is what I was looking for. I have only had it cold (I make a pitcher of hot tea and let it cool for iced tea), but, mixed with ice and a little milk, it is my very favorite summer drink. The only improvement I could see would be to offer it in a tin, as well, for those of us who make a pitcher at a time.

Good product, terrible packaging on my order.
I ordered a 30 pack of this instant chai for inclusion in a gift basket, but instead of the large pouch pictured in the listing, it came in the form of 30 of the chai sticks in a plain brown box with zero product labeling other than a bar code label with the product name and an expiration date sticker. Neither putting a plain brown box in a well arranged basket nor dumping 30 small packets loose are much of an option, so with no time to fix this problem left, I'll be headed to the stores to pick up some of someone else's product to include in this basket. The extra annoyance? Having tasted the smaller 10 pack of the chai I got, I'm pretty sure this is exactly what the person I'm giving this gift would have been looking for. Good product, but the terrible packing means I can't use it for the purpose I bought it for.

Fantastic Flavor
I originally tried the sample pack and really liked the spicy chai tea so I ordered a 30 pack of that and it is amazing! The spices are so flavorful, there is no bitterness just a fragrant and deep spiciness that fills your mouth with tingling. I add nothing to this, no milk, no sugar of any kind and I could probably drink 12 cups of this a day. I don't, for which everyone around me is thankful but I sure could! I plan to try other flavors but really got hung up on this one for a bit. If you like robust and spicy flavors then this is the tea for you.

Does not taste good
I have tried many types of chai. I also make my own from scratch. I had high hopes for this based on other reviews. My experience was that it just did not taste good. Almost a chemically taste to it with no true chai flavor. As I was unable to return it, I threw out the rest of the package as I truly did not want to taste it again. Sorry manufacturers but this was my experience with your product. I liked the concept for traveling but, in my experience, the flavor was not there.
