How can I check if my door is compatible with this smart lock?

To ensure this lock fits your door, please check the following measurements: the backset must be 2-3/8" or 2-3/4", the door thickness should be between 1-3/8" and 2-11/64", and the bore hole needs to be 2-1/8" in diameter.

Is this a Wi-Fi-enabled smart lock?

No, the U50 uses the Zigbee protocol, which offers higher security, faster response, better stability, and stonger extensibility than Wi-Fi, but requires a hub such as Aqara G2H Pro, G3, G410, G5 Pro, E1, M2, M3, M1S, or M1S Gen 2 to work.

Why can’t my lock pair or connect?

For a stable connection, please ensure you have an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub, that it is placed within 5 meters of the lock without any obstructions, and that both devices have been updated to their latest firmware versions.

What is the difference between the U50 and U100 smart locks?

U100 supports fingerprint unlocking. If you don't need fingerprint access, U50 is a simpler and more affordable choice with app, passcode, Bluetooth, Home Key, or other unlocking.

What should I do if the lock keeps beeping during installation or use?

Please first confirm door compatibility, ensure the deadbolt is installed straight and level, and make sure the strike plate is properly aligned and installed, as misalignment can trigger the alarm.
