Safety hazard
Like the hurdles and cones but very disappointed with ladder. It has fabric made rungs and I have tripped over them multiple times using it and planned on using it for therapypatientz but have decided it is unsafe! Had to order a new ladder

Basic kit, ladder needs rigid rungs, all these items can be purchased separately at about the same price
This is a fine starter agility set and it has a nice carry bag for on the go. I'm a personal trainer so it's nice to be able to carry a small set with me. It includes 8 cones, 6 hurdles and a ladder. However, my main issue with this set is the agility ladder and the value of the items. The problem with the ladder is that the rungs are soft straps, not rigid plastic. It makes setting up the ladder more difficult than those with stiff rungs and it means that if it gets caught on a foot, getting it laid out straight again is a mess. And if it gets tangled, then we're talking Christmas lights and iPhone headphone levels of frustration. Finally I take issue with the price point. Given that you can purchase all these items separately for pretty much the same price (a ladder with rigid rungs for around ten bucks, a set of 20 cones for less than ten dollars and a set of five hurdles for around twenty-five dollars), this set really isn't a super great value or anything unless you figure having the bag makes up for having fewer cones? I'd rather have more cones and a better ladder, honestly. That said, what's here is pretty good (other than the aforementioned ladder) and it comes with some ideas for agility drills (though, the value of that is not huge considering we have the whole internet at our disposal when looking for new and fun drills). But, the hurdles are good quality and the cones are up to par. I just think that there are better values out there in terms of agility items.

A Basic Set For Basic Agility Building
I have had a desire to improve my agility, having done regular exercises as a kid. I wanted to start again, so got this set. Let's take a look at this set.WHAT IS THIS SET LIKE?CASEFirst of all, this set comes in a nice carry case. It shuts with a spring loaded clamp and has a string for carrying or hanging up.INSTRUCTIONSThere are instruction lists in this kit. First there are general instructions. Then there are instruction sheets with photos for each piece in this kit. I highly recommend putting each of these in a clear presentation sleeve to keep them clean, in one piece and easy to refer to.This set comes with three types of props to ;help with exercising to develop agility:AGILITY CONESThese cones essentially work for markers in setting up various exercises. Some of the activities are to run through and are done on your feet. Others are done with shuffling and bending to touch them. The cones are close to the ground and have a hole in the middle for grass to pop through if necessary.AGILITY HURDLESThese are low to the ground and you set them up to do various running, stepping, and hopping over in various ways. These are tubular blue plastic with black plastic caps on the ends. These are not overly sturdy and if it is a windy day, they tend to migrate if not on the grass or other rougher surface. There is a web belt that you use to keep them together when not in use that has velcro on the ends.AGILITY LADDERThis is a web ladder. There are hooks included to hold the ladder into place on the ground. There are exercises for hopping, skipping, running, and shuffling.CAUTIONThere are cautions provided with each exercise sheet to help those who might be a bit over ambitious not to over do it too fast.HOW DID THIS WORK OUT FOR ME?I was able to use this for a while to increase my agility. When we got a rainy season I could not do it anymore, and now it is winter, so I am waiting for spring again. On a gym floor these would not be as nice- they would easily slide out of place and I would spend more time fixing them than using them. I prefer using these on the grass or dirt. This is a decent starter set. Once you get committed to using it, you can move up to something a bit more intense. However, this is easy to take with you and transport to keep you going when you have to leave and go on vacation or somewhere else for business, etc.THE BOTTOM LINEFor a great basic set that is best used on grass or ground, this set helps develop basic agility skills. It can also be brought on vacation or business trips to keep in shape if that is needed, as it is small enough to take with you if you have room for it.MY RATINGFOUR stars. It is not quite as practical to use on anywhere but grass/ground, but it is decent and I like the way it packs away to take with me.

Having FUN with this!
Update: My workouts so far with my client are going great! I’m happier with this set than I was when I first received it and am giving it 4 stars instead of 3.I am still a little disappointed in the ladder not having some kind of structure for inside, but so far it’s not been a pain. As well, it’s not tangling up like I thought it would. At the gym where we work out there is carpet and the ladder kind of grabbed onto that and mostly stayed put, as the cones & hurtles did. If we’d have been in a gym with a slick floor, this wouldn’t have been the case. Nonetheless, we had so far 2 really good agility/aerobic workouts with the items and it added some fun levels to our workout, and we are able to have fun with it and try out new things. I was able to pack everything back into the bag and store it in the back of my Subaru. Not a bad set, but I do still wish the ladder came with a little something to keep it firm and stretched taut when working out indoors.—————-Original Review:I’m both happy and a little disappointed in this agility kit.Happy:-The bag to store everything is makes my life much easier. For my workouts and for my client’s workouts (I do a little personal training on the side when I’m not editing or writing books).-The hurtles are great - made of plastic so they are lightweight but they’ll be stable enough to use. I’m small enough I could use them for pushups and other things in my workout routine.-Discs are fine, too - I’ve never used discs so this will be a new one on me.-discs, hurtles, ladder held together by velcro to keep them neatWhat I’m disappointed in:The ladder. It comes a bit tangled up and that was easy enough to unravel but I foresee me having to unravel it every time—not a deal breaker. But, it’s soft everywhere so there’s really nothing to ‘ground’ it IF you are working inside—so, if I take it outside, I’m golden, because there are metal anchors to drive into the ground. However, working out outside isn’t always an option here in the mountains: we have a lot of rain, and in the winter it’s icy or snowy. I’d love to have had an option to weight down the ladder INSIDE as well. So, if I or my client are running, jumping, etc, around and through it, it’s going to have to be straightened up from time to time. A few simple weights or bars on it somewhere would have helped tremendously with this for indoors workouts—and the price at over $45 certainly could include that. I can see me spending time stretching it out and trying to get it right, and then having to stop and do this during the workouts. So while the thoughts of using this outside are valid, I had it in my mind that I could use this inside as well. My client took Cross Fit classes and said they used a soft ladder inside, but there was the issue of straightening it out. So I’m a bit on the fence about the issue.I’m taking it with me to the gym to workout my client and will see how it works with him. Then, I’ll come back to update this reveiw on those results.
