Great performance, terrible flavor
In terms of having everything you need for distance running besides plain water, these gels are perfect, especially alternating the caffeinated and uncaffeinated every 30 minutes. However, the taste was not “mild” as advertised, it is a very sour cough-syrup sort of flavor. It was so startling at first, I checked if they were expired (they weren’t). The flavored ones aren’t much better. If you’re okay with shooting it back like medicine, they are great. But if flavor is important, they might not be for you.
