Hidden Treasure!
This is not merely a guidebook, this is hidden treasure! The book itself is so beautiful, printed on handmade paper in India, it contains the secrets of Delhi! This is not the average run of of the mill Trip Advisor, Lonely Planet and Foders "picks" guide, this is a very special book for people looking for more than the average experience when traveling. Fiona has a goldmine of hand selected and reviewed treasures for accommodations, shopping, museums, art and restaurants and much much more. She guides us through Delhi as a traveler not a tourist. I've been traveling to India for years and have always dreaded the Delhi portion as a necessary evil to get in and out but after relishing in Fiona's LOVE DELHI, I'm actually excited about my arrival and departure dates and how I'll spend my time. The book is gorgeous and I will definitely be looking for her other "Love" series books for future travel. Highly recommended!

A book for higher end travelers or those seeking the unique
There are a lot of books about India for people who are looking for an overview, or for the least costly hotels and restaurants. This is not one of those books. It is intended for people who are looking for the best, the things that you may want to splurge on, the experiences that are off the beaten track and may be so because they are off beat. I travel to India frequently, and this is the book that I turn to for suggestions for where to go, what to eat and where to find the unusual. I wish it were less expensive, but it was worth it.But - not a book for everyone, and it would be one that would supplement a more general guidebook.

Love Delhi
Although this guide book has a particular focus, if that focus is what you are looking for, it's a great book. It is beautifully done and points the visitor toward aspects of Delhi that are in the same vein of taste and sensibility. I found it to be very helpful and it made me want to return for a longer period of time to explore more of the spots she describes. The whole concept of this guide book is to show you the Delhi that the author fell in love with. Very good.

Love guidebooks are an essential companion for anyone traveling through ...
I work in luxury travel with a deep travel knowledge of Northern India having lived there, studied abroad there and visited repeatedly. Love guidebooks are an essential companion for anyone traveling through India. A must. And they look beautiful on your bookshelf and are a lovely keepsake to remember your adventure after your journey.

for the pretentious
hand bound and quickly falling to pieces bought for a friend and we marvelled at the western shopper and instant gratification complex applied to india will appeal to 7star tourist but who really are they!? sure there is a niche for new travel books but this does not fill it a trivial view of delhi and not so sold in the west as appeal is quite pretentious and a little shallow high heels in dharavari!!!stick to the lonely planet it is realistic

As with past editions it is totally useful and brilliant for all addresses. I almost don't go to places where there isn't a 'love' guide!
