Good latch
Well built and solid. I needed the long bar. Just made new gates for my deck. The old gates sagged a little and rubbed against each other so this time I and I left a wider gap between the gates.

Works like I wanted it to. No problem mounting it and it self locks like it says.
It works as advertised. A little smaller than I expected, but it's still sturdy.

Looks good, but steel latch did not last long
Bought in late April, installed in early May and it broke in mid-September. Now I am looking for something make of steel that can last a few years. Maybe it was a fluke, but never had this happen before.
