I've been trying different microphones for podcast interviews and voiceovers for screen recordings and haven't found a good one until I finally decided to try this one. It doesn't disappoint. It's clear, good quality, and sounds nice. I use it with a Scarlett 2i2 audio interface with an XLR splitter for both left and right channels. It sounds awesome.

So, I wanted a RODE mic for a very long time, I’m a musician who plays Christian Black Metal 🎸 🤘🏻I didn’t think 🤔 there’d be a cheaper RODE mic. 🎤 I originally thought 💭 of a $250-$700 mic 🎙️, but after seeing good and bad reviews on higher end mics you’re not getting away from that anymore. Why not save some money 💴 and buy a Pod dynamic mic 🎙️ ? It’s cheaper has MOSTLY high reviews instead of low reviews and it has a built in pop filter which works AMAZING 🤩. Just like cheaper other brands of guitars 🎸 that work fine, cheaper 🎙️ mics work fine too, so far so good. The ONLY complaint I do have is everybody’s right about the boom 💥 arm being lighter than the actual mic 🎙️ itself. But I am keeping it for now and we’ll see what happens. One last thing, you have to turn this particular mic 🎙️ up higher on the interface you have because not all 🎙️ mics are the same.
