Why doesn't call audio play through car speakers when connected via Bluetooth, FM, or AUX?

When the device is connected to the car audio via Bluetooth, fM, or AUX, the call / music audio output on the phone needs to be set to CarPlay, and the callvolume must be adjusted on the phone.
