Exceptional Flexibility
Most other Step Down 220V to 110V Voltage Converter & Universal Travel Adapter Transformers handle only light loads. You will be warned by their manufacturers against using them with higher wattage items; like hair dryers, irons, etc.. With this Adapter Transformer you should certainly not use the other two outlets, while using higher wattage loads. For normal wattage loads, you can merrily use all three outlets, as well as the USB chargers. As a regular traveler to 220V countries, I have traditionally had to carry some rather heavyweight Adapter Transformers to meet my requirements. This Adapter Transformer has made my life (and luggage) much easier.

Worked for a bit, but then came the RED LIGHT and it stopped functioning
This item worked fine few a few weeks. I only used it for a laptop and phone charging, so it was not overloaded.First the fan got very loud and then the red light came on and it stopped working completely.It's a nice looking appliance with everything you would need for international travel, but since it stopped working after such a short time, I would not recommend this product.

Doesn't work everywhere and on everything
The converter seems to be well made and durable and I purchased it because it was able to be used everywhere. Unfortunately it didn't work everywhere in Italy I had to add an adapter that had three prongs instead of the two prongs that came with the power cord. Normally the third prong would be a ground and not necessary. The problem was that the existing prongs were to big to fit into the wall outlet. Another reason I bought the converter was because of the high wattage ability so my wife could use here curling iron. The problem was it wouldn't work when she plugged it in so I had to spend $40 dollars in Italy to buy her a curling iron that plugged directly into the outlet. So much for saving money. Next time I'll check and make sure that the converter can power up everything I have before I purchase.

Amazing for charging everything we needed in Paris. Definitely buy if you are going to Europe. USB charge ports saved our butts as well.

Extremely noisy fans... it s a deal breaker
usually, when I'm traveling, I'm staying in one hotel room and use the outlet close to the bed...but this is not possible to consider using this adaptor as the fan runs non stop every 10 seconds...I would not recommend this adaptor to anyone, the concept seems a good idea, but the noisy fans are a no go...stay away from this product and consider alternate ones

Bringing it to Italy
I got this one because my friend went to Italy and needed to get one. He told me it worked very well and recommended it to me. He has recommended items in the past and has never let me down. I trust it will work as great as he said it would.
