These are a pair of terrifically good quality loudspeakers which are up there with the best of the compact loudspeakers when it comes to sound quality. They are sensitive little souls with sensitivity at 86 dB, 6ohm impedance and Frequency Response: 55Hz~20kHz. We drive them with our matching 307A valve amplifier and they need little driving at all and deliver a fantastic level of imaging with great clarity. The construction is multiple layers MDF construction with high glossy lacquer finish, distinctive curved body prevent internal standing waves for amazing natural acoustics. Absolutely stunning!
What an incredible bargain! These speakers are spellbinding, both in appearance and in the music they produce! When partnered with the valve amplifier 307A be prepared to be amazed. So much so, that I am seriously thinking of jettisoning a Naim setup....and going home again to the 'magical 'valve' sound! Mistral have performed a virtual miracle in producing such a system that beats other more expensive systems hands down. The main key to their deserved success is in the music they reproduce. Wow!

Mistral 307A amplifier + Mistral 307S speakers
I took a chance and purchased the Mistral 307A amplifier along with a pair of Mistral 307S speakers. This is not a brand I've come across before. I was very close to purchasing an alternative tube amp which boasted an integral Bluetooth receiver. I'm so glad I didn't! This amplifier is incredible, well-built and the sound quality from the 307S speakers is amazing!!! The amplifier has an integral USB port for IPhone/IPod integration. I simply purchased an AZATOM Tune Bluetooth receiver and connected it to the standard IPhone cable that comes with the amp. I can now connect any Bluetooth enabled device which gives this setup added flexibility. When you pair the amp with a high bit rate MP3 or CD this is when the system really comes alive! To my ear this setup can compete comfortable with amp/speaker combo's at almost twice the value, if not more. Well done Mistral and Audio Design Services...

Sale of the century
Saw some reviews and took chance and so far its a win win situation. I've coupled these speakers to the matching Mistral valve amp and everything sounds lovely. They kick out a surprising amount of bass for small bookshelf type speakers, but good positing is required to get the best of them. Vocals come across clean and crisp and bass and instruments are nicely balanced. As happy with D&B as they are classical, a good all rounder.
