If you've put a lot of Ikea furniture together, you can do this
You're looking at this because you've got 50+ old LPs, but probably less than 200, and you're not a huge enough LP collector that you would buy a record shelf, but you're looking for something nice to store them in--and you're wise enough to know that records should never, ever, be stacked flat. That warps them and permanently damages them. This box will do the trick. It's more durable than milk crates, more upscale then apple crates, yet doesn't break your bank.Like the previous reviewer, it really doesn't come with any instructions! So you'll need three very important things to make this work:1) A multi-year experience with putting Ikea and similar "by instruction" furniture together yourself. Enough experience to know not to freak out when there are 2-3 screws left over because you know they always throw a couple extra in the box with these things;2) A delight for small puzzles/little challenges like trying to put this thing together without any instructions. You know: (a) it's basically a cube, (b) every piece has large holes where the "lock nuts" go, and (c) "small holes" where the screwtop slides through;3) A philips head screwdriver. I recommend a powered one or similar because your wrist doesn't need the workout of the 18 screws you have to put in this thing. If you're up for the challenge, the first one will take about 40 minutes to do. Any others after that, 15 mins and under. And after that, a lifetime of useful LP holding. :-)Good luck!...A

no instructions
Got here very quickly like seriously 3 days! WOW! But there are no instructions. So I'll have t figure this thing out on my own. which honestly I don't think will be too hard. But I'll let ya know. So I'm only giving it 4 stars for now.

WORKS
FRAME IS STURDY AND HOLDS MANY RECORDS. I THOUGHT I WOULD BE ABLE TO PUT MY PLAYER ON TOP, BUT IT IS TOO SMALL (IF YOU HAVE A PLAYER THAT HAS PADDLES ON THE BOTTOM). EASY ASSEMBLY.

Good for Your records
Nice and looks great. I have 2 of them stacked and they are working just great with no issues. Instructions were a tad tedious, but building was relatively easy either way. A++

Typical Mainland Manufacture
First of all, these aren't "durable studio laminate finish," whatever that little bit of gobbledegook is supposed to mean. They are vinyl over particle board. Unlike Ikea, they fill the holes for the pins with plastic inserts. Also unlike Ikea, there's apparently no one inspecting them who might notice that these inserts aren't always inserted properly.Yes, they are now enclosing instructions, if you can call a single sheet with incorrect information on it "instructions." NOTE: The back panel "A" has EIGHT cam holes, not four. It's a good thing they include extra pins. I lost one each on two different units. They tend to self-destruct, so don't screw them in beyond where they become just barely snug. (Yes, the plastic on the pins is softer than the vinyl!) And make sure the pins protrude into the cam holes far enough for the cams to grab them, when you dry fit the box. Otherwise the cam won't grab and you will have to remove a panel like I did and substitute another pin. Finally, be sure to put the panel with the Sefour logo on it on top and not on the bottom, though the logo is cockeyed on both units I received, so it doesn't exactly enhance the look. I'm surprised Sefour isn't ashamed to put their logo on this item.Pros? It's a fairly solid unit when assembled, and the handle is a good idea, though I'm not sure I'd trust it with a valuable record collection. The depth is perfect too, so the records are recessed about a half of an inch. Beyond that, you get what you pay for--or less.

easy to assemble
received as a Christmas gift. easy to assemble, sturdy. My only complaint, and reason for 4 stars - although black was ordered, I received brown. Not the end of the world, but the rest of my entertainment furniture is black so it was a bit disappointing. If you're ok with the risk of not getting the proper color, then there should be no hesitation i purchasing this.
