Only three stars because whoever sized this must have been drunk off their mind, Seriously.Im 5'5" about 130 lbs and I'm usually a medium.In some cases I'll choose a large.But I've never had to return and size up TWICE before.Depending on your built, you might end up doing multiple returns and exchanges so be forewarned : I ended up with an extra large but it was well worth the hassle.The fabric does not feel plasticky at all and the ventilation features are off the charts, I find it impossible to overheat and have any condensation issues with his.The front flap will cover your pack belt, there's a tunnel pocket in the front, the hood is a dream with full visibility yet full protection from rain and wind.The garment is longer than average, hits at mid thigh, which is really awesome if you were the matching rain chaps, btw.

Love the design of this cagoule for women. My backpacking days are over but I still participate in many events and activities outdoors. I've looked for a flattering fit and waterproof piece for years. Having worked in the outdoor industry, sometimes it's hard to find pieces that both, do the job and are flattering.It's lightweight (no zippers, a little velcro, only snaps), seam sealed. Nice hood. I'm hoping that the DWR holds up well. I've had many pieces over the years where the DWR wears off very quickly, and getting the aftermarket product to really work is futile, leading to condensation and being nearly as wet as a non-waterproof piece. We'll see.Looking at a forecast of rain for the next 10 days. I'm going to put this new Sierra Designs jacket to the test.By the way. This is a summer piece. It's more fitted than you might expect. If you're planning to layer more than normal for summer temps, size up.

This raincoat is amazing seemingly well made. Actually waterproof (we will see how it holds up). They call it a cagoule. And it is down to above knee length. Intended for hiking and backpacking. It is stylish enough to wear in the city. You can wear it in the summer without overheating. It has little vented armpits. And the cuffs have both velcro and elastic in them to keep the rain out. Both lightweight and waterproof. And open at the sides with snaps and velcro. I am so glad I purchased this cagoule for my outdoor adventures!!! There is one pocket in the front with netting. Very lightweight, very cute on, and yet very practical.

I love using a cagoule for rain gear on backpacking trips, so I was excited to find this. I ordered my normal (medium) size, but it was too small. Have to return, but I will order a large if I can find one.
