PEI (Polyetherimide) , also known as Ultem, is a reusable, relatively maintenance free. Perfect build surface for both ABS ( Heatbed 100°C) and pPLA (Heatbed °60), other materials such as Metal, Wood, ABS+, ASA,PETG and many others also works just fine. PEI sheet is appealing due to its “no-surface-prep” conditions, which make it convenient to work with. Additionally, printing on PEI sheet requires no support rafts as parts adhere directly to the surface with no issue. Say good bye to Blue Tape and ABS Slurry. Last couple months to years depend on the usage.

Great build surface
If you aren't familiar with PEI (polyetherimide) it is a material that works great as a 3D build surface for PLA and ABS plastics. The prints stick excellent when hot and release easily when it cools. I have PEI on all 10 of my 3D printers. I have bought PEI from various manufactures / distributors and the prozix PEI sheets is as good as they come. The 500mm X 500mm sheet is huge and the 0.5mm or 20mil thickness makes them very durable, more so then the ones that came with my Original Prusa I3 MK2 which was only 5mil thick. I used this sheet on my custom build GMAX 1.5+ printer with a 500mm X 500mm build plate. It quite literally makes this printer set and forget where I don't need to worry about the print coming unattached during the build. The attached picture shows the PEI attached to my glass build plate. The imperfections in the picture are the silicone thermal pad underneath the glass and not the PEI. Now only if I could find a 500mm X 500mm silicone thermal pad.....

Exactly what I needed
I used this on a large format printer I designed and built myself. Exactly what I needed. Installation was relatively easy. Be careful to get the sheet right where you need it and apply like tape from one side to the other to avoid bubbles. I had a couple small bubbles when I first stuck mine on the bed, but after a little bit of work with a plastic/rubber putty knife, I was able to push them to the edges and get rid of them. Sheet thickness is good. Not too thin. I think this should last for a long time as long as it's properly taken care of.

Lots of bubbles, poor adhesion.
This item didn't fit my 500mmx500mm CR-10S S5 plate because it was cut too short on one side. I put it on anyway and it was not forgiving of bubbles at all. The adhesion was less than bare glass. It was a waste of money and I went back to the blue painters tape and glue stick.
