An annual purchase to get rid of the nasty biting flies and gnats that descend on me and my dogs and think they can live rent free sucking blood and buzzing around being annoying!Yes flies really do bite and they do suck blood!!Not a horrible smell but not fragrant either.

Does exactly what it says on the can. I work in a primary school and had lots of the little things buzzing round, annoying everyone. Unfortunately the headteacher wouldn't let me spray them as their parents would apparently have complained, so had to only use it on flies.Good value. Very effective, killed the majority of the flies and biddies throughout the summer. Good quantity for the price too.Only downside was delivered by Evri, who after telling me "nobody on site" - 11am on a schoolday so over 300 people on site then reattempted delivery at the local public library (next door) by leaving it on their doorstep the following day at 3pm. A confused librarian brought it to us.

I have used this spray previously, and it is very effective against flies. Wasps seem to be a little more resistant to it, but do succumb to it's charms after 20-30 seconds. It seems the bigger the insect, the more resistant they are, as I had to spray a large hornet multiple times before it dropped dead on the floor. But to kill flies and bluebottles, this spray is brilliant. Use it sparingly though, because despite the pleasant smell, you don't want to be breathing this in, as it will cause breathlessness, and god knows what else if it gets in your lungs. If you can, just use short bursts directly at the insects. Only if you have a major problem should you spray into the air to treat the entire room, then you should leave the room for an hour or so, and ventilate the room when you return.It has a long lasting effect when it settles on surfaces too, and acts as a repellant for crawling insects, such as beetles, woodlice, and spiders, so you can spray it on painted or plastic surfaces, but wood may be adversely affected, so I wouldn't risk it. It should be fine on carpets though, just remove pets from the room beforehand.

Would have been more deadly is I chucked the can at the fly. Useless spray.

I come from a bygone era where a squirt of fly killer caused the critter to drop of the sky but .. perhaps sadly, regulations prohibit that. This comes close ...I had a different popular brand which the flies laughed at. One squirt of this stuff and you can see the flies clearly bothered and then they die shortly afterwards. Not too bad a smell - I just cover anything that may be in contact with food and deliver a small blast of this stuff.Value wise it works out cheaper per can than the other brands if you buy in 6's

Supposed to be rapid knock down for flys and wasps. I've sprayed a fly 5 to 6 times with this sprayed and its still flying around. Im wondering if I got a bad batch of 6 cans here?
