Good quality hose but a few points to note.This is only rated to 140psi. My small compressor tops out at 150. So, if you are running anything bigger you may need to use your regulator to lower the pressure. I was a bit surprised it was this low.The coils are tight. This one is ten feet longer than the one it is replacing but feels about the same because the coils are tighter.Otherwise a quality product that I recommend.

I was using the thick hose provided with my Portercable pancake compressor when it got too close to a halogen light. To finish the job I removed the harbor freight yellow coil cord from my modified masterflow MV-50 12v air compressor for tires, and found that cord was superior to the one provided with the compressor for the task I was doing, installing T&G cedar on an interior room.Never the less that night I researched these hoses and bought a 15 foot, and a 25 footer and they arrived 2 days later. I put new fittings on them and these are vastly superior to the HF yellow coil. I was able to keep the compressor further away and not have the cord retract my nail gun across the hardwood floor.I put the 15 footer on my Masterflow 12v air compressor, and the smaller diameter of the coils means it fits better in my chosen location. The stress relief design is well engineered. The Swivel is fantastic and allows much more freedom and less tanglesI am still using the HF Hose on the pancake compressor but only as an air blaster, not to power my nail guns.If a better coil hose exists, I'll never bother to find it.

Liked that it coils to stay compact and it comes pre-taped with teflon. Doesn't easily stretch to 15ft though. So if you need to work at such a distance, get a longer one but wider to counter more air resistance in the longer coiled path. It's all a compromise. Will buy again but 3/8in next time.

Really nice hose, with good strain relief and SWIVEL (Rotating) ends. This part is useful if you intend to hard-couple it without a quick disconnect.Recognize that the length is fully stretched, which is not really how you will use it, so don't overestimate its reach.The long leader end is almost as long as the compacted coils.

The coil hose is a nice item in that it holds the coils very well and yet is easy to extend and not adversely “fight” as you use it. I will buy more in the future as i find need. I would advise that when you choose a length, add five feet to your intended order.

Posted about a Coilhose regulator so I will kind of repeat it. A great American company with a industrial quality product. I actually have a 3/8"X25' flexcoil hose from Coilhose that Ive had for over 10 years. The sunlight has faded the color but IN NO WAY MADE IT BRITTLE. Awesome hose

Couldn't be more impressed.The stress relief, the flexibility, the narrower than standard coil, the swivel.So very much superior to the yellow harbor fright jobber I had on my Modified( for 1/4" NPT fittings) masterflow MV-50 compressor previously.If a better coil hose exists, I will remain ignorant of it, as there is no reason to look further.

I got tired of fighting with the heavier hoses attached to my pneumatic guns, especially when doing overhead work on a ladder and also in tight places where a heavier hose will not bent adequately. ~ A very handy hose to have available in your pneumatic inventory; I highly recommend it!
