Pleased with the tape’s estimate of weight of our two very different horses
Delighted! Tape independently matched the weight estimated by our vet in the past when our two horse were given sedation med based on the estimates by vet (which proved about right at the time). One horse is a stocky built 15.2 hh and the other is the same height, but a thin, athletic build.

Good quality, easy to use
My horse got a little chubby and I've been meaning to get a weight tape to monitor her weight loss progress. This has been perfect so far. It can handle getting a bit wet (I wouldn't throw it in a river, but it'll hold up to use in a wash stall just fine). It's very easy to clean and quite flexible. I roll it up and put it in my tack trunk for storage and it unravels easily when I want to measure my horse. Bonus it has height measurements too!

Lack of clear directions
Well, after 2 inquiries from the seller on how to measure my horse’s weight with this tape, I still did not get my question answered. Once you wrap this around your horse at the withers there is no arrow to indicate the weight. Do you use the end of the metal buckle, the end of the tape or where? It is useless otherwise.
