I have not tried to calibrate it so far, but the unit label on the case is missing, the instruction text is in very broken English, I assume from a translation. Very hard to follow - but most of all, the unit looks like a "copy"???I need a good, affordable unit. Please confirm that there is no front label which goes in the box front (top) depression, where a label might go. All there was I found a bar code taped to the bottom of the unit case (box)..I am a bit confused and question it's accuracy now after reading the problems the unit may have on calibration attempt.Please advise!!!!

I need to use this so before I send it back I am going to use it. It came beat up, marks, scratches, missing the ph packets but I need it for the ph testing, we shall see how that goes. I can do calibration with other liquids. I also bought the square trade on this...so I am guaranteed some satisfaction. I have bought several ph meters....whats with them breaking after a couple uses? I have now spent over 100 dollars on meters, hence the ST insurance.

I bought this product 3 weeks ago, I calibrated it and it worked fine for the first 3/4 times I used it. But I went to use it a few days ago and the pH value is stuck at 7 ish. It will not calibrate, reads Err (error). I soaked it in a storage solution for a while and still is not working.. I really would like to get some help on returning this thing but can't seem to get ahold of the seller. Reallly upset because I thought I was buying a decent or at least better pH meter than the 15$ ones which I've gone through about. 5 or so..

After the failure of many "cheap" ph. testers, I found this one. A few dollars more but worth it. I wish I had found this one right away. I could have bought 4 or 5 of these with the $$I wasted on the cheap yellow and black type.

I received the pH Meter and the box box was empty. i received the black case and no meter. what the hell is going on. three batteries were inside. my phone number is 618-974-7160. i am upset first because i had to wait so long and now that the box is here it is empty. the box was not secured and anybody could open it. i paid my money and i do not have the meter. please call or send me a secure box with a meter in it.

Ph meter works great an it is waterproof without a doubt wish I would of bought this one first instead of the cheap ones but you live an learn very pleased with the meter would suggest anyone to buy it if you do hydroponic
