BONUS FEATURES • 3 Mini Movies Starring the Minions • The World of Despicable Me • Gru’s Rocket Builder AND MORE! Review: Very very funny .....and cute! Minions 4EVA! - This is a great film.....and I really mean that....it has it all comedy,tragedy....love....its really a joy to watch.... When I first watched it I held out no hopes whatsoever that it would be any good...So I was lucky because I think its great....It makes you laugh, cry and think...What more could you ask for?... Gru is an evil genius villain who is losing his crown to a younger evil villain...then he spots a way to win and it changes his life forever...3 little girls come into his life and he is lost to loving and caring for them.... So watch and enjoy...I got the ultraviolet copy to share with friends/family....Its well worth it and ultraviolet is easy to use and set up...It means that you can stream/download a copy of the film on a Kindle Fire as well as an iPad or iPhone....a great sharing system.... Review: Brilliant film - There is little more to say about this film. It is a magnificent animated feature that manages to be funny, charming, sweet, and have a great story. There is plenty for both Adults and Kids to love, it also introduced the world to the minions who steal every scene they are put in, The voice cast is universally magnificent and the script is perfect with enough bite to keep parents interested and enough broad comedy and crude jokes to make children scream with laughter. The moral and emotional impact are done fairly subtly and not hammered home which adds to it's effectiveness for me. I would recommend this to all parents (as long as you are prepared for the minion love in that will no doubt follow)

Those damn minions!
I hate minions. I hate how aggressively they have been shoved down our throats, I hate how people post 'inspiring' quotes with a minion next to it on Facebook as if the two are related, I don't find them amusing and I don't understand how anyone over the age of 5 can like them. It winds me up that people have tattoos of them and wear their merchandise as adults. Ok rant over. I'll pretend that minions are only liked by kids and I'll just see it as a kids film. *Inhales deeply* My 2 year old son likes Despicable Me. He doesn't find it funny but he enjoys watching it. I personally rate it about the same as Bolt. Both are OK kids films but not on the same level as Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, Big Hero 6, Dumbo, Lion King and Bambi. (They are not all on the same level as each other either though but they are higher than Despicable Me and Bolt). I have nothing against the film, I just hate the adults who think they're hilarious. I hate the advertiser's for being so aggressive in advertising and sticking minions on tictacs, yoghurts and bananas. If those two didn't do that and they just treated it like any other kids film then I wouldn't be ranting. I know I'll get mountains of unhelpful votes. I'm betting those types though are probably sat there with their minion tattoo, wearing their minions pj's and giggling to themselves when they hear the word 'banana'. There's a surprising amount of them out there sadly.

Corny, crazy fun.
I got this on a friend's recommendation and was dubious to begin with. All I can say is that it's loud, it's corny, the plot's beyond belief... and it's one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen. The main character has some good one-liners; the little kids are adorable and even the squeaky minions are fun rather than irritating. (I have to admit that my favourite character was the scary 'dog' even though it's not a main role.) Play this and go back into your second childhood... with some clever adult twists.

Enjoyed more than anticipated
Great film. I tend to steer away from things that have a lot of hype as it rarely lives up to it. I have to admit that I did enjoy this though. Steve Carell is very funny and I can picture him acting his lines. The minions are a great inclusion - providing different levels of entertainment to appeal to a range of audience. Would recommend.
