The item is shipped pretty bare in the box, so unreliable delivery companies are likely what caused the most damage for the other reviews. Mine showed up in a great condition, and after wiping a little factory oil off the outsite, everything seemed perfect. It is quite large but the locking mechanism seems solid, it has good hinges, and is simple to use.

This is a nice safe and seems very sturdy. Like all safes it is heavy. I wish they had put a handle on it. It is awkward to pick up and hard to carry because of not having a handle.

I really like this Safe. It fits perfectly in the closet. It is sturdy made. Fire retardant and flood protection. It seems small but it can take more than the eye meets. Ideal to keep your documents (letter size) small valuables items like jewelry , passport, etc.

I would not buy this item again. It is the perfect size for what I need but without any kind of handle it is awkward and heavy to pick up. Why would they not build in a handle?? It was also supposed to come with inside straps but they did not and are out of stock and the company said they would send some to me but never did. Sometimes it is also hard to open so you have to know to press down on the top with one hand while pressing the open lever with your other hand.

A fireproof and waterproof case for important documents is essential! You never know when an emergency evacuation will happen and having irreplaceable items in one place will give you peace of mind.

Value and Features are spot on! My son is in residential housing and this safe is secure and out of sight. Very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.
